If he can get back to player he was before the injury, it will be a steal.

This is one of those high reward players. He could be a really good signing. The best part, we risk very little by doing it.

Except the ire of lots of fans for signing a "who dat?" kinda player.........

Stewart "I'm healthy" Bradley got a 5 year deal.

He's definitely seen a part of our "healthy" longer term future.

Good signing. We HAD to get a SILB and Bradley can do the job, if he stays healthy.

Need a vet CB and NT now.

Does anyone really think the Cards would sign him if he wasn't healthy?

Amazing how the Cards are the only team that has injuries.

what's even more amazing is that they don't see them coming... when there's a ridiculous history of players having them!

if you're not a student of history, you're doomed to repeat past mistakes. that's all I'm saying.

Well some you don't see coming and some are calculated risks. You may be 100% correct that the Cards have more FA signings that get injured the most or all teams but I doubt that is the case.

Where you are confusing me the most is that you wanted Stevie B. re-signed when he has had obvious knee issues and don't want Bradley or Heap.

For the record I wanted Stevie re-signed, especially at the price he signed in KC. I'm good with Bradley because we need to do something at SILB and his signing is a calculated risk. Heap is almost no risk because we have King and Housler.

We need to improve our OLB pass rush ability but who is out there to get this done? Not much of anything so we need O'Brien to step up. I'm sure we will sign a Vet CB and I forget what else you were upset about.

Signing Heap doesn't preclude us from addressing other pressing needs, all it would do is continue to improve a unit that needed upgrading.

What's even more amazing than that is they seek them out. Stewart is just another name is the injury prone players they have pursued.

I agree with you. A past history of injures has no bearing on your injury future.

Sincerely,

Early Doucet

Past injuries don't mean you can't help your team greatly.

Signed,

Kurt Warner

Al Johnson, Mike Gruttadoria, Travis Laboy, depending on Hayes last year all say hello.

I don't remember any of those guys being hurt when they signed, which is what's being insinuated about Bradley.

No, it's not. It's that he can't stay healthy. Of course he has to pass a physical before he signs his contract.

IIRC Johnson's injury stemmed from his time in Dallas and for some reason I though Gruttawhatever was also hurt from being a Ram (though I was in elementary or middle school at the time and cant be sure lol).

I looked it up and Grutts played and started all 16 games for the Rams the year before joining the Cards.
