Cryptic...I like it! Welcome to the board Bartel's uncle/cousin/best friend/Richard himself!

Old Schools ASFN, some crappy defensive back's relative came on the board to defend them. Anyone remember who that was? It was a she I believe...maybe Michael Stone's relative?

Bartel has a groupie?

listened to KTAR this AM, Skelton was pulled to the side and told that they'll sign competition this week and this is what you have to do to get the start this Sunday.

What a waste of time telling him that? What kind of brain dead individual or coaching staff plays that game? rather see something like this-------

Your the last man standing in Cards Camp this year, We need to build your confidence and allow you to think just about the game plan against Denver this week. We may have to cut the playbook down but Johnny boy, We expect to execute the plays we do practice this week on Sunday.

Your not alone out there Johnny, we have veteran players that have been to the SB and playoffs. Keep a quick release, their gonna come after you early, If they have success they'll pile it on, just like you have seen all year long.

We'll run the ball and give you max protection, keep a short drop and a shorter memory, don't dwell on the last play or look over your shoulder at RICHARD BARTEL, just concentrate on doing your job, performing your role in this offense, one play at a time.

now strap em up before you think too much about it.

Go Skelton.

I am with ya, Skeleton needs to do his thing, and worry about the bone collectors the defense will be sending. Bartel, I hope they just "told" this cat he would have a chance at getting the "start" just to get his butt in the door.

Simply because of DAs head and Halls make a wish body being crushed. That Bartel groupie seems to be bout it bout it, but if he was that good, he wouldn't be sitting on the sidelines in the scrub league.

Go Skelton, one play at a time buddy. :)

CBS Sports says the REDSKINS sign QB Richard Bartel after putting Max Hall on IR.
how do these guys keep their jobs, It's amazing their bosses keep their jobs.

Bartel just finished backing up Daunte Culpepper for the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the UFL, and this will be his fifth NFL team. Bartel isn't likely to have much, if any, Fantasy value the rest of the season, so continue to ignore him in all formats.

Am I the only one who noticed that it says Redskins?

Burned in my mind. I don't remember if it was front this board or the official Cardinals message board, but somebody burned his jersey and took a picture of it.

Closure.
Oh. I'm not going to let someone else hating on him change the fact that I like him.

Per KTAR text

What the heck! Kurt Warner was found in a grocery store before he was playing pro ball. We have lost 7 in a row. Can this guy be any worse? We have not scored a TD in many quarters so just how much worse can a street player be. We are in a position to set the longest losing streak since 1943. Go for it. Maybe when the revenue starts to hurt the pockets of the Bidwills they will take a real interest. I would think selling season tickets for next year are not going to be great. Maybe if they sign someone like Luck it will help or Donavan McNabb. Could we even afford McNabb and Luck on the same team in the real Cardinal world. Money will always enter into who we sign and perhaps Graves is hamstrung on just who he can sign because of budget restrictions. Our problems extend well above Whiz's pay-grade. Whiz would never be fired mid season like many coaches are because the Bidwills would refuse to pay two head coaches salary at the same time. Denver is now paying three head coaches at the same time. Jerry Jones had no problem firing his head coach and it has really paid off. His problem however was not a QB problem as Romo's backup Kitna is playing lights out. I thought kitna was selling used cars until he surfaced as the Cowboys QB backup.

Surely we have the worst group of QB's in the history of the Cards or perhaps even the history of the NFL.

Derek Anderson (concussion) missed Cardinals practice Wednesday.

John Skelton and Richard Bartel shared snaps in the session, which probably makes about the least amount of sense of any maneuver made by a coaching staff all year. Bartel just signed off the street, and Skelton could benefit from getting all of the first-team snaps considering he's only taken eight all season and is the heavy favorite to start on Sunday.

Ugh.

"I'm still learning the system, but I think I'll be ready for Sunday. This is a great opportunity. I'm going to attempt to fill Max Hall's shoes as best I can. We're going to do the best we can until Derek or John gets back."

Richard Bartel, one week from today
