I'm not on the Arians bandwagon. He is 60 years old, has health problems and another Steelers coach that got fired which the fans were happy to see go.

We don't need an old school coach that is ready to retire. Let's get a young an innovative coach here like Bevell. He was a qb and has coached qbs.
I'm tired of the Steelers offensive philosophy.

Being 70 years old, I can tell you that we should go young and not worry about lawsuits. :D

Colts OC Bruce Arians is having dinner in Arizona tonight with Cardinals officials and will continue interviewing with them Thursday.

It has started.

This time tomorrow I think he will be our HC.

The health thing is the only part that worries me. Also, he was not fired, his contract expired.

John tells Doug & Wolf Bruce Arians was set to take the Bears HC job and had both Ken Whisenhunt and Russ Grimm on his staff before Marc Trestman got the job. He also gave us his surprise pick to get the Cardinals gig.

Interesting note from an interview with John Clayton.

The entire interview can be heard at the link. This Arians thing seems to get more complicated by the minute.

I thought they finally figured out it was an inner ear infection.

That is what was release by him team, but early on they said he could not get his blood pressure under control. That is kind of scary for a high stress job.

Doctors ran a series of tests. Head coach Chuck Pagano acknowledged earlier Monday that although each of the tests was negative, the doctors decided to keep Arians in the hospital until his blood pressure stabilized.

The more I hear about Arians the more I wonder why they'd fire Whiz to hire him.

I am getting sort of excited about Bruce Arians. I like his experience allot. I would be fine with hiring him.
