For months, fans have been able to see the distinctive exterior of the new Cardinals Stadium gradually take shape in the West Valley. Today, the Arizona Cardinals Football Club unveiled the first extensive look at the building’s interior design.

Much like the bold architecture and innovative site plan outside the stadium, the environmental graphic design inside the facility is just as unique and will certainly define and enhance the fan experience.

“Three and half years ago, when we took over the design control of the building, we decided to spend our own money to improve the design and make this the best stadium in the National Football League,” said Cardinals Vice President and General Counsel Michael Bidwill. “We wanted to do this from a design architecture standpoint, from an interior standpoint and from a fan perspective.”

I was out at the site last week and they were already painting the lines for spaces in one of the Car Parks (Parking Lots). It is pretty cool when you drive by it on the 101...especially if you have not seen it in a few months.

That all sounds great, wow, so excited for this thing to be ready.

Quick question for you Jim...is it possible to go by the stadium and walk around and take pictures, or is this not allowed?

See I dont think the stadium really looks all that big. I was actually unimpressed with the size. But it sure does look pretty. :)

the problem now is that there is nothing to compare it to (except glendale arena, which looks real tiny then).

it will probably seem huge once the area is developed.

It is still under construction. You have to be working there and go through the construction saftey class or be escorted by construction officials.

The construction site is closed to the public but I would think that you would be able to park at the Glendale Arena and take pics from there. That holds true for any place in the surrounding area that is not fenced off for the construction site.

you have got to be kidding right? unimpressed with the size?? The Stadium is by far the biggest stadium in Arizona. I'd like to know what you expected if you were "unimpressed" :lame:

Try standing on the field level looking around. Or watching this big a** lift working on the speaker system. You'd think it was big then...

definitely an impressive structure - anything that can be seen in goodyear that is located in glendale has to have some size

i used to think the coyotes arena was pretty decent in size and that thing is absolutely dwarfed

I see it everyday and it is still amazing.

It could be because there is nothing around it to compare it to. Much like how the sun looks bigger when it's setting than when it's high noon, it all has to do with perspective. Put AWA and a few other building next to it and it would look Ginormous.;)

Edit: US Airway Center...my bad. :p

Actually size wise it really was not that imposing to me. SDS looks much bigger when you approach it or see it from the freeway from the north side IMO. So anyone used to going to games at SDS shouldnt think it looks all that ginormous IMO.

But like I said it sure is pretty though.

I'm not sure...I'll keep you posted.

Just a question:

I remember some of the press confrences being on video (I think the Okeafor and Warner signings)

Why arent all of them released as video, such as the Phoenix Suns, release pretty much all press confrences in video rather than audio.
