Have the Cards ever beat the Jets?
Ever?
Ever?

Ever?
The NFL worst offense against the NFL's most dysfunctional team. If the Cards can't beat the Jets, then there really are some huge problems that need to get fixed the day the season ends.
Against Sanchebow, this "near-elite" defense should be able to pitch a shutout with me at QB.we just lost to a team that a) just got killed by the Jets at home and b) that hadn't won in five games, with their last win coming against... you guessed it... your arizona cardinals!
if Kolb starts, maybe we have a shot... not likely tho. If Lindley starts, it's ugly unless the D has another super-human performance like they did against Atlanta. I just don't know how long they can keep their heads up.

I just looked it up, it was also the last win too, Jets have won the last 5. The last time the Cardinals beat the Jets, Joe Namath was QB, and John Riggins was their RB. Yes, it's been a loooong time.
I went to the 2008 debacle. It was the first time I ever left a game early. 34-0 at halftime, Cards make a brief run and cut the lead to 34-21 but thy allow Farve to throw 3 more TD passes in the 4th. I left after the first TD in the 4th when the Jets stretched the lead to 41-21. Defense couldn't stop a cab. So, I wasn't there when Boldin got hurt. I was on the turnpike heading south. That said, that wasn't the worst loss to the Jets. I believe it was 1996 when we were the Jets' only win.
Was that against Rich Kotite and the mighty 1-15 to be Jets?Still upset about the ejection of Seth Joyner in that 1996 game. Had the Jets pinned deep when Adrian Murrell stomped on Joyner's stomach after a running play. Then Seth got up to go after him and was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. Reports later said he threw his helmet and was ejected, but those that were there know that he slammed his helmet down like Thor slamming down Mjolnir and it bounced up higher than you'd think possible.
That whole episode cost us one of our best defenders and 30 yards in field position. We were never "in the game" after that. Completely changed the momentum our defense had going at the time it happened.
Kath & I will be there early (lots open at 8am)...why? I can't say, but regardless, we'll be there...most likely in yellow lot L. The flag will be flying, so if you see it, stop in & say "hey!"
