Carlos Arroyo is a good PG, he was only paid $1 million last year!

I saw him play against Phoenix last year at AWA, and he was very good against us. He's not flashy like a Nash. He's a solid player with good fundementals. A typical Sloan player. This guy is a better PG than we have, and he would be cheap! :D

He was here in Denver last year and was left unsigned after the Nuggets went after Earl Boydins and Andre Miller. Is a true point guard and obviously fit well in Utah with Jerry Sloans offense. I totally forgot about him, not a high profile FA but an effective one. If Vujanic is going to stay in Europe for another year could bring this kid in for a couple of years and may not affect Vujanics decision to come over.

I can't believe Arroyo will move. Utah has a massive amount of cap space and seemed to like his game. For the Suns he would be an improvement, but not a huge one. He is not an especially great outside shooter and the Suns cannot succeed with a weak shooter at PG.

Fred Hoiberg earned my respect last year in the playoffs.

He played a lot better than I thought he could. I think he is a free agent this year?

He really knows how to play the game, tought, and can hit the open shot.

Hoiberg is what we keep hoping Jacobsen will become. He played pretty well with the Wolves and I can't see them letting him leave cheap. My problem with him is that he is not worth what it would take to get him to move.

This is the first year Hoiberg has shot well from the outside. He has been in the league since '95 and averages only 38.1% for three for his career. His last two seasons with the Bulls he shot under 30% for three and only 38.9% from the field his last year with the Bulls. A nice player, but not a big deal.

Well, he is more of a two guard. I though the Suns were looking for a veteran point guard. Thus my posting about Arroyo. Hoiberg would be a good back up at the two, but Casey does rebound better. I think the two of them, Casey and Hoiberg, are so similar in types of player, that if you have one you don't need the other. Casey is CHEAPER than Hoiberg. Gotta keep that cap space to max out Amare down the road! :)

Arroyo is a free agent on a team with only $7.4 million in salaries.

Hoiberg played point for MN in the playoffs. When Cassell got injured Hoiberg played and did an excellent job.

He makes a lot of money.....? come on really?
He is a backup and can not make a lot of salary?

However if he does forget that.

We don't need cap space to max Amare. Hopefully our cap space will have been spent wisely by then.
