The boss (wife) has graciously agreed to let my son and I attend the Carolina game. Since it will be my first game at SDS, any advice about seat selection and parking would be appreciated. I know the sun can be a problem if you sit on the East(?) side, but is that for the upper decks only (since its winter)? Can you bring binoculars into the stadium? Is there (theoretically) a home side, I cant tell by looking at the seating charts? I don't want to end up amongst a bunch of Panther fans if I can avoid it. Now is the time to expound the virtues of your section. The best advice-giver wins a beer! Thanks in advance.

The brutally hot East Side in early September becomes a nice warmer haven in December.

Buy in section 30, 29, or 31 in the lower bowl, or in the corresponding upper sections on the east side (241, 242, 243) as close to the lowest row as you can get.

It's all on the vistor's side, but for Carolina, there will be no visitors.

The Cards are on the west side of the stadium. The east side is the visitors side, but I doubt there will be very many Panther fans at the game. Either end zone is usually mostly Cards fans.

As Skorp said section 29, 30 31 are good areas Id sit down low rows 10 thru 20. This will put you close to the action, keep you in the sun for most of the game to kep warm and allow tou to see the replay board. Ive been able to pick up scalped tix in this area a couple of times this season at half price.
But my favorite place is section 22(north end zone) rows 20 to 30 seats 1 and 2 these are readily available, provide the same benefits as mentioned above with the added benefit of having the Cards pregame warmups right in front of you. Also easy access to the north parking lots. Good luck and enjoy

Usually I just scalp a ticket (for 1/2 of face value) and then sit wherever I want.

The East side is nice in cooler days. The north end zone does have some great fans - so often I'll move down there after the halftime meet.

Usually I park in the parking ramp off University 1 blk east of Mill. $5.
