It will probably take a 300 yd, 3 TD performance from CP to beat the Rams on Sunday in the cold dampness of London town. Do you think he will be a Stud or Dud?

If he gets support, he will perform. He's not a put the team on his back kind of guy- even tho I feel he has done a pretty damn good job of being that guy a couple times this year

Palmer has always been a pretty d@mn good QB since USC, but not very mobile. At his age he is a statue in the pocket, and very vulnerable to an Aaron Donald busting up the middle (and the pocket), forcing Palmer to move somewhere. I don't think he will do well in London, but don't like the label of dud.

With Palmer I think it’s a razor thin line between stud and dud and I can’t even guess which it’s gonna be.

It depends on the play calling.
Hoyer looked good against the Rams for crying out loud.

Depends on Peterson. If you think Palmer is going to be a dud, then you are also calling Peterson a dud

No, actually both Carson and Peterson's performance depend on the oline and tight ends blocking.

Rewatch the game last week, peterson actually had some running lanes, those were very few and far between in previous weeks.

The play calling actually completely depends on the blocking as well. The biggest offensive genius in the world can only be slightly successful if his line can't run block, and can't pass block for more than 2 or 3 seconds.

I hear you, but that was Aaron Donald's second game after being away from the team and the defensive scheme all offseason...He was not winning one-on-one contests vs the Skins (Rams loss) and was getting better vs the Niners, but not fully to form as he is now. It will be fun to see if the Rams D-front or the Cards Oline/Palmer/Peterson win the battle...

forget Palmer, forget Peterson... if the O-line doesn't protect on the pass and block on the run, Palmer will suck and Peterson will accomplish not much...

the oline, so far, has played 2 good quarters in 24 quarters of football.. if they can reproduce that, we will be good and we will win, if they don't, we will suck and we will lose... that's all there is to it...

Well, here is 20 fans who must be shocked. Someone said "Dud" was too strong of a word for what would happen today. Maybe a better word would have been "Duh".
