Carson Palmer trying everything he can to wake up nerve in shoulder

Palmer told reporters that he has tried methods including electrical stimulation, acupuncture and dry needling in hopes of waking up what he’s described as a dead nerve. While the arm is feeling better, Palmer doesn’t know when it will feel well enough for him to resume a full schedule.

“I wish I had a concrete answer or somebody knew exactly what to do to wake it up,” Palmer said, via the Arizona Republic. “The only answer is time, and I’m hoping it doesn’t take any more time.”

This situation sounds so much like what Peyton went thru with his neck. Sure sounds like Palmers gonna be on the shelf for awhile which dramatically hurts the Cards record moving forward:bang:

There is a big difference between Bucky's post and your thread. I think our odds were already long and Palmer being out makes them even longer but starting a thread titled the "Season is Over" when we're sitting alone on top of the division with a 2 - 0 record is bound to draw some negative reactions. And unless this was your first day on Planet Earth, you had to know that when you typed it out.

BTW, The Season is Not Over. The lights have dimmed but they are still on.

Or 4-0 and a QB controversy is no less real until the games are actually played and decided.

Luv the optimism. But if this team is 4-0 in the coming weeks with 3 wins without Palmer the NFL should just quit the season give us the Lombardi & induct BA into the HOF immediately & wave the 5yr wait :D

An optimist might point out we have a better chance of being 4 - 0 than we do of being 0 - 4. Plus, as a Cards fan, there might not be any Super Bowl victories but when we die, on our deathbeds, we will receive total consciousness. So we got that going for us, which is nice.

People should not confuse a sleepy nerve in a players shoulder , as being a sleepy nerve in BA's brain . Unless you are one of those who believe BA has done nothing to indicate that he is a superb head coach , all that matters to me personally is that I believe BA is a SUPERB HEAD COACH !!!!!

I still do not understand the lack of confidence in Stanton from a lot of people. He is mobile, has a good arm, won his first game as a starter (for Cardinals) in a place where west coast teams normally lose and has been around the game for a long time. I bet most Cardinals fans wanted Drew in there when Palmer was terrible for the first part of the season last year. I know I did. Glad Palmer finally settled in and got way better as the season went on. Yes, Stanton has a HUGE challenge with the 49ers this weekend, but glad it is a home game. Also, this Dwyer situation doesn't help, but 49ers are banged up and Kapernick had a horrible game last week to a Bears defense that is no better than our D. If Ellington can have a huge game, then Stanton will even have a better chance of succeeding. I may be a homer or just optimistic with this, but I can recall a former Cards QB that was a back up and got his shot and now he is on the ballot to go into the HOF. Just saying.....

48% completions. 14 of 29 for 167 yards. 5.89 yard average. 4 sacks. vs the giants.

If that doesnt explain lack of faith, nothing will.

In comparison, the week before Stafford put up 22/32 for 346 yards and two touchdowns. 69% completions.

And the Niners are FAR better than NYG.

Yeah Stanton hadn'd seen game time in a bazillion years, them stats would be a reason for more concern if there was some turnovers on it. I don't really care how many yards he gets, or the completion %, just protect the ball and get better each game. O-line will be huge again this week.

without the giants fumbling away every chance they had, we were in big trouble from the major lack of offense. He is going to have to step it up and play like a real QB this weekend for us to have a chance.

Total consciousness is possible the moment you desire it wholly, Grasshopper. Why wait?

Most likely yes, and I think he will play a tad better. But if we somehow end up with a lead, game management could do the trick. Especially if the Krapper starts turning it over at an alarming rate again.... which I hope.

We need a Shaolin running back. One that can avoid the defenses during the games and avoid the offenses when the game is over.

MrYeah, can I ask why you add a period at the bottom of all your posts? Just curious.

I dunno, just habit, I guess. I started doing it a long time ago because it makes the posts easier for me to read when I quote someone else, it spaces them better. I wish other people would do it sometimes. AzStevenCal's posts space great for me because he signs his name... even though he spells his own name incorrectly. :)

No big secret why #azcardinals lost 9 of last 10 to 49ers. AZ 30 turnovers. 49ers, 7.

Maybe Carson should just sit this one out. ;)
