Great article.

One might think that at 35 years old and having suffered two major knee injuries in the past 8 years, Carson Palmer has no business being this good. But Palmer isn't interested in what he should be—he’s focused on what he is. And right now he's one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

(And we're not saying that just because Palmer gave us exclusive access to his comeback, which you can watch here. Palmer's play this season speaks for itself.)

Through NFL Week 5, Palmer ranks first in the league in touchdown passes (13), fourth in passer rating (114), fourth in yards per attempt (8.89) and fifth in total passing yards (1,316). He’s also ranked as the top quarterback in the NFL by Pro Football Focus, a service that watches every snap of every game and assigns grades based on player performance.....

A link in the article shows how CP3 was such a beast in his recovery/rehab from his ACL injury.

"Physically, this has been a grind, but the mental side of it has been surprisingly easy,” Palmer says. “It’s mentally easy because I have such a narrow focus right now. I’m so focused on this one year. People ask me how long I’m going to play. I’m going to play this year and see what happens. So throughout this, I’ve set one goal, accomplished it, then set the next. It’s been a great challenge, but I enjoy challenges."

Happy for the guy. He had to pay his weight in blood on so many bad teams to finally get this opportunity.

Carson is on a roll , if he stays healthy he is on a pace to surpass a lot of the things Kurt did with the Cardinals .

Had the honor of meeting him last December. He is an extremely high-quality guy. Couldn't be any happier for him!

AZ has always had a history of reviving older players, Cards have done it numerous times which you know who, but the Suns are known for this as well.
