What would Antoine Cason have to do tomorrow to impress you enough to spend our 1st rounder on him?

For me I would say a 4.5ish 40 and he needs to look very agile in the other drills.

Him and Rolle are too redundant.

Good player and better person though, he'll be a great fit on and off the field for some NFL franchise.

I saw only two UA games I can remember last year. Cason made plays. Lots of them. Him and the underrated and undersized UA MLB whose name escapes me.

Both of those kids can play.

i want a corner who runs a 4.44 or faster....i'm tired of slow physical corners. I want a corner who can keep up with anyone.

I disagree, I think Cason is a much more fluid athlete and has better ball skills. At the same time Rolle is more physical than Cason.

And it is Spencer Larsen you are thinking of Skorp.

Walk on the field.

I already know he's a flat out stud, great cover guy.

Cason already off to a good start with 20 bench reps...haven't seen his 40 yet though.

He also has started his own charity..

Cason created a charity -- "Cason Cares" -- after his grandfather died of leukemia. He and a college friend worked hard with the Pac-10 and the NCAA to create these rubber bracelets (similar to those Lance Armstrong "Live Strong" bracelets) he sold for $3 each. Since September, he has raised $7,000, all of which has gone to the American Cancer Society in his grandfather's honor.

"I wanted to do something that didn't benefit me," Cason said. "Everything is not 'me, me, me' all the time."

Shockingly refreshing. Now, what a guy says in the combine media room doesn't always pan out -- I, along with many other media members, were wowed by Wendell Bryant's interaction with us once upon a time, and we all know how that turned out -- but Cason looks like the real deal. Even if he is (ugh) a Wildcat.

4.5 + 5/5 for me.

According to football's future he ran a 4.49. Thant is a very good time for him, especially since he was a real 6 feet tall.

Dude is going to kill them in his interviews. With his smarts, attitude, work ethic, leadership, Smarts (yes I said smarts twice becuase he is that smart), and good guy attitude(already has a charity foundation he started).

When teams give him the marker and take him to the white board to ask questions about schemes, different looks, and what he would do in certian situations he will blow them away.

I also like his definition of what a shutdown corner is in the NFL today with the rules such as they are.

“He’s a good cover guy who can play man or zone,” the University of Arizona product said. “He’s a good tackler, he has good awareness of what’s going on on the field and in the backfield, and he knows where his help is on the field. And he makes plays.”

Most CB's would never say or even bring up the ability to know where their help is. Shows his maturity.

He is going to make someone really happy. Reminds me of our very own future HOF Mr. A. Williams. Not flashy but gets the job done becuase they understand the game and are super smart.

Thanks, Chaos. Spencer Larsen. That's the man. If he doesn't get drafted and I'm the Cards GM, I'm begging him to sign with us as an UFA.

Speaking of ASU,how good a player is that safety Barrett? He looked alot like Laron Landry when he was working out at the combine.

Yeah I was wondering that also. Look pretty good at the combine.

Way too inconsistent, this is how the combine tricks people. He would make spectacular plays and tackles, and follow it up with awful mistakes. A good player, but not someone I would draft before the 5th round.
