He booted it through the uprights on one of the kickoffs yesterday. Cannon for a leg.

Hey! AJCARDFAN...

RE: NOT having heard him in an interview yet.

I HAVE! (AZCARDS.COM)

He sounded very strong in his faith. (ie; referenced God a few times/ played for CLEMSON.) On the field he's "cool as a cucumber." I mentioned this about a week ago that a "consistent" kicker is part of a successful team. Obviously, you want TD's but 3 FG's from your kicker, a couple TD's from the O/D and you play solid defense...You're gonna' WIN most games you play.

I am NOT nervous when it's FG time now. I believe, including the pre-season, he's hit 20 straight now. AMAZING!! :)

Have a GREAT day!

MARK IN SC :)

ANOTHER DAY TO "BASK"! :D

Speaking as a 40 year fan, so far he is the best kicker this team has ever had and that included Jim Bakken. Rackers was good for 1 season and was effective but was way too inconstant. Feely was good but he too could throw in a clunker. But this kid is strong. Of course we've yet to see him kick under real game on the line pressure but to be honest, I hope we never have to.

he hasn't had to kick a game-winner or game-tying FG yet, but he has hit some crucial cushion kicks at the end of games which put the game out of reach (both the Giants and Redskins games). I was impressed with both, especially the first one against the G-men, on the road, knowing our backup QB was in there and that the D was tiring.

that said, you're right... there's much more pressure on the game winner, but I've got confidence in the kid.

But is true in clmson they used a punter instead of cat for kick off?

Yes, apparently the punter had an even better leg on kickoffs, or so the coaches thought. Incredible eh?
