This is all KFFL has on him:

Giants | June’s agent hasn’t heard from team
Sun, 4 Mar 2007 10:26:03 -0800

Arthur Staple, of Newsday, reports even though unrestricted free-agent LB Cato June (Colts) was rumored to be on his way to the New York Giants, June's agent hasn't heard from the team.

He would look good in Cardinal red. Doubt he would break the bank...

Interesting...

The guy has played better than Briggs the last 3 years and has averaged 116 tackles/3 ints a year. That is pretty good production and he would perfectly compliment Dansby as our coverage LB.

Edit: And he doesn't have Urlacher playing next to him.

Said to be an excellent cover LB who may be a bit less physical than some teams (ours?) prefer.

Still - I'd love to have a guy named "Cato" on our team. (He'd attack the other team when they least expect it*).

* Confused? Get DVD's of the Pink Panther movies.

The local media here in Indy say that his agent is simply playing the waiting game because so many teams have so much cap space - wait until all the other players of quality are gone the defensive side, then watch teams pony up big money for June because he is the last impact player available.

I think he would be a terrific addition, but now that he has a ring he is clearly looking to get P-A-I-D. He will go wherever the money is, which is to say that we have an excellent chance to sign him if we so desire.

As long as you bring it up, did you know that Cato was a Japanese houseboy until Dec. 7 (Pearl Harbor)? He suddenly became a Phillipino houseboy.

Also - Britt Reed (The Green Hornet) was the fictional grandson of Dan Reed (the Lone Ranger's nephew). Both series were penned by Fran Stryker.

He also gets run over a lot. I think he's way overrated.

I would have to say Briggs is a much better player.

If we get Cato June, I'll rotate at least 3 different Kato avatars.
