No offense, but to make a post like this is idiotic.

Its just like saying, lets meet somewhere with some gloves and box it out. Especially since it is OVER the INTERNET.

it's so tempting (both the burning man and to have a moderator erase this).

QOTSA was excellent. I only caught half of 'em as I had to find my way to another tent . . . man it was difficult to catch all the groups/dj's/acts (blue man, on my trip, was unreal) that i wanted to see.

Ever drive from Phoenix to Tucson and about half way, maybe somewhere around Picachu peak there is this weird group of stuff on the west side of I-10 -- like a bunch of weird sculptures of rockets and cars and tractors and stuff made out of all sorts of crazy stuff like huge peices of wood and metal? There is a big sign for "Family Fun World, coming soon" or something. What the hell is that place? I didn't think it looked like fun for the whole family, but maybe that was just me.

I like to drink After Shock sometimes. Its good stuff.

Meanwhile, over at Aunt Martha's farm,........

This is an interesting thread. I propose the following competition to settle the debate between Tango and Ed once and for all.

1. They each should write an essay of 100 words or less on why they are more knowledgeable about Cardinal football than the other.

2. We put it on a poll for a week to let the viewers determine which essay is the best.

3. The loser has to sit next to me and my Packer friends when the Packers play the Cardinals at SDS this season, and the loser also has to wear a green and gold #4 jersey along with a cheesehead for the entire game.

Any takers? :D

'nuff said!!!!!

When I started posting on this board you and Krang ganged up on me as if I was some outcast. I didn't call you out or cry like a little baby to Skorp I went on with and ignored you. Just ignore Ed and his posts and I'm sure Ed can do the same and everyone can co-exist on this board. Besides this is suppose to be about football not your little emotional trips.

I lived in wisconsin - in a house with 5 male college-aged Packer fans, no less - for 3 years.

Not on your damn life.

Packer fans are like a cult. They scare me.

Party Pooper! We are a cult. This is the method we were trained to use to recruit new members. It’s the only way we were able to get people to come to Green Bay to buy football tickets all these years. Behold the power of cheese!

Just curious, are you and your dad also Bears fans too in addition to Cardinal fans?

Is it a North/South Chicago rivalry sort of thing? I'm not familiar with where the Cardinals use to play in Chicago.

We are not Bears fans. I love the Cardinals so much I have no room for another team.

Packer fans are delusional....at least the ones I knew. They are so "close" to the team that they refuse to ever believe that any aspect of the team is bad or that any player on the squad is anything but an all-pro!

They could use a good negative S.O.B. to help balance things out.

YES! What the hell is that place? It is just plain old strange yet fascinating. It's for sale now and every time I drive by I can't help but think "Hmmm, How much do they want?" maybe I can move there. You know family fun and all. I could be the next Walt Disney or something!

What is After Shock?

Absolutely. The City has always been split North/South. The White Sox and Cardinals played in Comiskey Park, the Bears and Cubs in Wrigley Field. The rivalry was explosive and remains so between the baseball teams and their fans.

The delusional part is true to about 75% of the Packer fans I'd guess. But we do have a very negative reporter in Cliff Crystal to help balance it out. That's why so many people hate him, and why others like me like his objective reporting. Sometimes the truth hurts. Take it easy. I'm done with this thread.
