The Cavaliers visit the Suns tonight with the game slated to start at 6:30 p.m. Arizona time. It should be a good test for the Suns.

Cleveland update: The Cavaliers (27-8) on Saturday acquired sharpshooter Kyle Korver in a trade with Atlanta. Korver, a 43-percent career 3-point shooter, provides scoring and depth on the perimeter, offsetting the loss of J.R. Smith, out for an extended period due to a broken thumb. A 2015 All-Star, Korver (9.5 ppg) is expected to join the Cavs in Phoenix, but it is unknown if he will play. LeBron James averages 26.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 8.4 assists. Point guard Kyrie Irving (23.1 ppg) and Kevin Love (21.7 ppg, 11 rpg) also are playing at high levels.

The above quote is from a Doug Haller article at azcentral dated 1-7-17.

Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue says Kyle Korver will join the team this afternoon, does not expect him to play tonight vs the Suns.

Bledsoe has 8 points in the 1st quarter. It's a fast tempo game so far. The Cavaliers lead 22-19 in the 1st quarter.

It's like beating a dead horse with Knight. How on earth do you get the ball stolen from you twice on one play

On that last steal Knight did not have a chance. The Cavaliers are playing very intense defense right now. Booker is only 1-6 after getting very good looks.

Your saying he didn't have a chance because there playing agresive defense? It's his job to deal with someone playing D

Yeah he's missed 3 lay ups you can tell he's pressing tonight

I'm was talking about the turnover where he was trapped near mid-court and more defenders running at him.

It actually looks like the Suns are playing about as well as they can. They came out ready. They're hustling on every play. Its just the Cavs big 3 are so much better than anything the Suns can put out there.

This is true. Also I think the Suns got rattled as well. Basically the Cavaliers can get anything they want.

Lebron has 2 PFs. He seems to complain a lot. Actually the Cavaliers players seem to complain a lot.

Mike Dunleavy Jr. not reporting to the Hawks is throwing a wrinkle into the Kyle Korver trade. That's all the Cavaliers need is another weapon.

The Suns are down 69-53 at halftime.

This game can be related to a video game with three levels: normal, expert and professional. The Suns are playing at the normal level and the Cavaliers are playing at the professional level. It's not even close.

I hope for better in the second half.

Wow, that may have been there best run of the year. I bet the Cavs thought they would quit in the second half.

No quit.

This has turned into an exciting game. The Suns only trail by 7 in the 3rd quarter after trailing by 22 earlier in the game. I agree, the Cavaliers tried to put the Suns away in the 1st half.

If they keep Len on the bench they may have a chance. His stint in the first half only netted the Cavs a 12 pt lead.

This team doesn't quit. They may not be all that good but they don't quit.

Booker is on fire now. The Cavaliers appear somewhat rattled by the Suns comeback.

The Cavaliers lead 93-90 at the end of the 3rd quarter with Irving hitting a buzzer beater.

You can see a Lebron is just ok give me the ball now.

Watching the Cavs broadcast there giving a lot of credit to the Suns players.

This the first time I have seen Booker show the leaping and explosive ability since his toe injury. He is operating at a higher level now.

Booker went to the sky on that last shot going to the rim.
