I noticed that to many people were betting both sides. Thus they had no chance of losing any money. So people were building up large bank accounts without any risk whatsoever. So I decided to make them all 1 to 1 that way if people want to bet they have no choice but to either stay even if they want to bet both sides or take some risk if they wanna make money.

Why not split the bets then? A Cavs/Magic bet - where you may only bet once. Favorite pays 1/1 (or less) and the underdog pays more?

That could work, but you'd have to get rid of the + and the -.
