A long term deal at 2-2.5 million/yr is fairly reasonable for a steady corner who has produced and doesn't have a history of injuries. IMO.

Don't know much about Andre Dyson (Tenn.) but if the Cards were targeting a FA corner he would seem to fit the requirements; young, but experienced starter, with upside. Again though, the salary demands for corners are way to high!!!

They say Dyson held his own the last couple of years. He got tested due to Rolle being on the other side. Not very big but still a good cover corner.

Dyson would be a nice pickup. He's a good cover corner with great speed and ball skills. He's just coming into his own and would be a solid pick up.He is a little small at 5-10 183. He was a second round draft pick for the Titans. I still would like to see us make a trade for Patrick Surtain of the Dolphins. He can make an impact right away while whoever we draft has a year or two to develop.

It seems the cb free agents are not active yet and given this factor we have a shot at Dyson and could bring Hill back. Personally I like Marlin Jackson out of Michigan and probably could be had in round 2 or early 3.

Jackson isn't a lock to slip into the second round but will definately be gone by the third, no question.

Speaking of cornerbacks. I just saw that Michael Stone signed with St Louis on NFL.com. This is the first that I have heard of it. They didn't have any contract details.

Jackson will probably be drafted somewhere between #25 and #45. My guess is the Pats will take him at #32.
