Interesting... Richard Sherman has dinner with #49ers coach Kyle Shanahan last night....

So San Francisco is first up on former Seahawks’ CB Richard Sherman’s visit list - and there’s a real chance it’s his last visit, too.

Richard Sherman could be seeing Seattle twice a year: Sherman is scheduled to meet today with 49ers’ officials, sources tell ESPN. 49ers want to make sure Sherman healing from injuries, and if both sides pleased with meeting, they will try to get contract done, per sources.

You can bet he wants to sign on the dotted line with the Niners just so he can play against the Hags twice a year.

Good. I hope they sign him. It would be a fiasco for the Niners.

Sherman signed. 3 years - $39M. That's a lot of coin for him.

30 years old and coming off an Achilles. Risky, but if healthy he will help them. Hate him all you want but he's a talented player.

Man, I have a former friend who is a huge 9ers guy and hates Sherman with every fiber of his being. I wish I could see his reaction right now.
my sister in law is like that... gonna be sure she is aware of this next time I see her, lol

Or maybe because he went to Stanford and loves the area?

He probably got the offer and new that was way more than he would get anywhere else. Plus, his Stanford ties, plus playing the Seahawks twice a year. Sometimes it's not always an "or" question it's an "and" answer.

Good deal for Sherman. I'm not that high on him. I think he was a product of a great defense with lots of outstanding players around him. He was not a shutdown CB like Patrick Peterson who covers the opponents best receiver. Sherman played zone coverage. His flamboyant personality got a lot of attention. IMO the 49ers overpaid for him.
