In 2008? Give me a break. Fox, who resisted HD long after CBS embraced it, does virtually every game in HD (except the occasional Arizona or Minnesota game), and they still need another year to ramp up?

I firmly believe all major sporting events should be available in HD. It should only be news when networks broadcast in standard definition from now on.

Why is it that local channel 3 can broadcast all Dbacks games in HD but the mighty NFL can't do it until 2008?

Nice. I wish our games were on CBS.

Didn't the NFL announce that all stadiums will have HD equipment for next season except those being replaced with new buildings?

I was all ready to upgrade to DirecTV HD; but the install guys told me that - even though I get good reception with a standard dish - the trees surrounding my property will prevent me from receiving the HD signal (because the HD antenna and equipment is more sensitive to tree-blockage). (Dang!)

I really wondering why I bought a big screen TV last year that doesn't isn't in Hi-Def.

I don't suppose I still get a better picture when these stations upgrade ...

I was wondering the same thing.

Jeff, find the critical tree and cut that sucker down. HD is so superior, I can hardly watch anything not in hD.

Just got my Direct TV HD DVR and I can't watch non HD (almost). It is a crime for any sporting even not to be in HD. Hell, I watch stupid shows now just because they are in HD...Insectia is one, lol.

Anything on Discovery for me. I'm in the same boat as you though. I'll watch anything on HD just because it's on HD.
