The poster is an as-seen-on-TV collector’s gem with the giant headline of CHAMPIONS! and a giant photo of Vlad Goldin. The poster comes from the front page of a four-page stadium section produced by USA TODAY and distributed on the court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Only 100 sections were printed.

The full-page poster, printed on high-quality, acid-free art paper, features stunning photography and a memorable headline commemorating Michigan’s three victories in three days at Indianapolis. First, the third-seeded Wolverines blitzed Purdue 86-68. Then Tre Donaldson drove the length of the court for a last-second 81-80 victory over Maryland. Finally, Michigan finished off Wisconsin and cut down the nets.

What a way to soar into March Madness!

Hard to believe that only a year ago the Wolverines finished dead last during the Big Ten’s regular season and were ousted by Penn State in the first round of the conference tournament.

The Wolverines also won the Big Ten tournament in 1998, 2017 and 2018. Only Michigan State, with six titles, has won the tournament more often the Wolverines. (U-M’s 1998 title, in the tournament’s first year, later was vacated because of the Ed Martin booster scandal. But that doesn’t erase what your eyes saw at Chicago’s United Center.)

Upgrade options for the Michigan poster include framed copies and background choices of canvas, acrylic, metal or wood. The poster is available through only the USA TODAY Store and will not appear in appear in regular print editions.
