Champions League: Expert Drops Aston Villa Star With Potential to Trouble PSG

Paris Saint-Germain are set to face Aston Villa with a spot in the semifinals on the line. PSG made their way to the quarterfinals following a dramatic Round of 16 clash with Liverpool, securing a victory in a tense penalty shootout.

Aston Villa had an easier time in their last round, dominating Club Brugge with a 6-1 aggregate score. The matchup also brings some personal stakes, with Unai Emery and Marco Asensio both facing their former clubs.

Both teams enter the match with momentum. PSG recently clinched their 13th league title with a 1-0 win over Angers, while Villa triumphed 2-1 against Nottingham Forest in their latest game.

The fact that he’s now, while not exactly talismanic, extremely important to the Villa side and has earned a place in the England setup speaks volumes about his rapid development under Unai Emery. Rogers is a player that PSG fans will surely find intriguing to watch.”
