1. Jeremy Bridges comes in for somone - Pick your poison. Levi Brown, or Brandon Keith. Both starters are awful. I would take Bridges before any of them. Still going to have problems at one or the other.

2. Start Alan Branch for Calias Campbell. Campbell is too inconsistant on the pass rush, and is woefully inconsistent against the run.

3. Start Dan Williams and stop being cute. Desparation calls for it. Watson is a waste. If they like Robinson so much, then fine. Deal with his lack of skills, but at least put the only effective NT in the game. Work him until he throws up on national TV, and then send him back out there for more.

3. ROTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bang: :bang: :bang:
phew! Rotation at the lineback position. Can we use Reggie Walker ? PLEASE. Pretty please with sugar on top ? Tired of seeing our rookie WILB, who is playing well but getting a "welcome to the NFL" moment per quarter. At 239lbs he is getting sa-lacked. Lenon...ugh, is who he is. At least put Walker in to the game to keep the unit fresh, he can't do any worse.

Anyword on Gerald Hayes besides he is broken ?

Same goes for OLB. O'Brien Schofield better have some talent or we are in deep trouble. Porter is not an every down player. Neither is Haggans. Mike Davis has not shown anything that would lead you to believe that cutting Courtney Brown and Stevie Baggs was a "good idea".

4. Name a singular offensive coordinator.

5. Go with Max Hall. Anderson is who he is, and has shown how bad it can be. Start Hall, that is why we kept him.

6. Stop using Wilson in coverage 1 on 1. It is embarrasing and lunacy. Doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result....well you know.

7a. Get an indentity on offense. At least the Panthers have excepted they suck, and stick to their guns. They run, run, and run some more. If we are going to run, stay commited to it, and yes, even when down 3 TD's. If you are going to have a big play, then accept it will be a big run.

If we want to be a running offense, and buy into it, then keep Faneca out on the line. If we are going to be passing, he has to sit, and we should try Hadnot.

7b. *** If we choose to be a running team, PLEASE, PLEASE put Rex Hadnot a center. Sendlien is tipping off his snaps, and it is obvious. Count to 3 after he dips his head, and you will see what everyone but our coaches see.

8. No more games like this. I HATE after games like this, that I am consumed with constantly looking at this message board, football sites, etc., etc. Just trying to find something.... hope, an explanation, anything. It consumes my thoughts. I hate it. Makes me full of animosity.... :D

Great overall post and I completely agree with #6.

Adub is very good in zone coverage when he doesn't have his back to the QB. Man to man he is horrible. To think the Mac staff actually thought he could play CB. :doi:

Well back in the day he had really good speed, but a couple injuries and 10 years in the NFL are going to slow you down.

Do what most teams do with there experience..... let them read what is in front of them, and react.

He had amazing speed and still has very good speed. It's his change of direction skills that are poor, at least in coverage.

I wonder how many of Adubs IT's are in zone coverage instead of man to man. My guess would be almost 100% from zone coverage.

Good stuff Rugby!

I really like 4. and both parts of 7. I would even go so far as to say that if you cured Sendlien from tipping pass plays that you could figure on seeing some improvement in our pass protection. That head deal he has is like cocking a gun for the defense. Head down ***** it and when the head comes up u have a one count before the snap. It has to be harder than can be imagined to pass protect when they know when the ball is going to be snapped.

Whiz may be a good head coach but he is a miserable offensive coordinator. Let one person handle that responsibility that is not Whiz.

Come on now, he was the OC that won a SB with a Rookie QB.

The Sendlein thing was really noticeable yesterday. Once they started teeing off on the pass rush you could tell they knew when the ball was snapped so they had some key from the C.

There were 3-4 plays where I yelled offsides at the snap only to see on replay they weren't offsides. They were clearly timing the snap because of Sendlein as you say.

But your idea to put Hadnot at C might be a problem, he can't play both LG and C can he? That's how bad it was yesterday he needed to play both spots.

Agree with all except #2. I know Campbell hasn't done anything but I believe our D as a whole isn't doing anything and it is because of the coordinator. Branch won't be an improvement. We need to find some creativity and aggressiveness in our defensive play calling. Then and only then will, CC, DD, ADub, DRC, etc. look like the players we know they are capable of being.

Hey at least Hall vocalizes the snap count and tried to get them offsides instead of DA's foot stomping that they can easily time.

I think he's a spectacular offensive coordinator and a very good head coach. However, I don't think (and Shane will disagree with me) that he is great at both at the same time; something suffers and the ball gets dropped because he can't keep his eyes on everything at once effectively.

He CAN do it, but I truly feel we'd be better off with a good OC calling his plays and allowing Whis to completely focus on the overall game, if only to have his head in Davis' face the entire time asking him wtf he is doing.

True, ----- but, he was just an OC at that point in time. Now, he is a HC, and his responsibilities far exceed his ability to be an OC/HC. He needs to hire a pure OC so he can begin putting out all the fires that his position coaches have failed to act on. He no longer has the luxory/time to allow him to call plays and or personally coach up an erratic QB like he did when he was just and OC. His attention is needed elsewhere ie. setting goals for his O'line coach, D-line coach, LB coach, secondary coach, and his DC. Then he needs to follow up to see that each is making progress on their tasks, not just giving lip service at the Monday presser that we still need work. He needs to INSURE THAT THE WORK IS BEING COMPLETED SATISFACTORILY AND THAT IT GETS POSITIVE RESLULTS.

Exactly. Ten or fifteen years ago, the novelty and pride of thinking I was a season ticket holder and a die hard fan carried me through this crap. I don't have that anymore. Now I feel that a team that puts a work product like this on the field is just a fraud. I'm closer to the edge than I've ever been. I can't justify staying on anymore when their is a good chance its just going to be three hours of utter hell and humiliation. I just don't need this anymore.

Here is what I would do:

1) Bench Porter and start Wilson at OLB

2). Make Wells a starting RB

3). Shake up the OL. Start Bridges and Hadnot.

4). Pray Hayes makes n amazing recovery

5). Fire Graves for not addressing LB or our OL like he should have via FA. Not to mention for making Whis keep Lienart even though the writing was on the wall.

I was simply responding to LS about his comment that Whiz was a miserable OC. No mention of duel role etc.

I'm pretty sure he can set goals for his assistant coaches before the game starts. Follow up occurs after the game. Insuring the work is getting completed is not just a game time activity. This is just management 101.

Their are more then 1 HC that calls plays during the game.

Now if Whiz finds an OC that he has complete faith in and the Cards agree to afford said OC then I would be all for it.
