This was mentioned that this has got to be the first time in history where 2 teams lost their kickers against the same team in consecutive weeks. Eagles lost their kicker last week and went for 2 instead.

NJCardFan mentioned attending a USFL game on another thread...I was at an Oakland Invaders game in, IIRC, 1983 when the kicker missed the net while warming-up. The ball flew on to the field and the refs. had to stop play. It was the highlight of the game.
