I found some blurb that said she got on the show because Scott Baio's ex girlfriend, Pamela Anderson, recommended her(pam was on the show once too). Scott turned out to be a big fan of hers, she came on the show, and reportedly Scott hit on her incessantly and she was quoted as saying she wanted to hit him and she decided Anderson had done the right thing in dumping Baio.
I'll readily admit to having had a Sam Fox calendar in the 80's.
