I think most likely that it's a mixed bag where he did well with some interviews and not so well with other interviews. Cardinal sources are claiming he did very well with the Arizona management group. Who knows how it went with other teams. I don't believe Casserly is just making up the report from his sources and I also don't believe Murray bombed every interview.

Do people really expect a team to come out and say "player X was a complete utter idiot when we interviewed said player".Not likely to happen.

No. Are you suggesting everyone in the media is lying about the positive stuff they have heard from sources who were in the interview rooms? He talked to 10 teams. I don't think he bombed all 10 interviews. Do you believe that?

I think you've been pretty fair, that's true. And in truth I like the humor you put in your posts.

But you do seem to get a little wound up in some of the other threads were guys are steadily disagreeing with you.

I get it though. The first pick on 04/25/19 is crucial to the success of our franchise for at least the next three years, maybe more. There is a ton at stake.

You want what's best for the Cardinals just like I do.

I try CW.I know we all want wants best for the Cards.I prefer the safer less risky choice (Bosa). That's my way of thinking.I have a hard time that some fans just have blind faith that said player/players will succeed in the NFL.There is no sure thing.Being shorter and smaller framed in a premium position are huge red flags for me.After all if the Outland trophy winner was a 6`0 270 LBs offensive tackle would people draft him? Or a 6`0 260 LB DT with short arms? Physical limitations do factor in the situation.A CB who is 5`9 175 LBs who runs a 4.8 40 yd dash ?Things like that do matter.taking a risk like that just doesn`t suit my nature.Thats my thinking.

Didn`t say that did I? Just saying that generally rumors have some basis in fact.Remember it is also the time for smokescreens/hyperbole/etc;

Casserly had to hear what he did from somebody.I doubt he made it up.Like others said it could be a smokescreen to lower Murrays draft value or it could be factual. If there is any doubt about Murrays leadership, character, poise, work ethic etc; all these questions need to answered to the teams satisfaction.Big Red flags in my opinion until the issue is resolved.
That was, indeed, a weird move by Casserly -

He has too solid a reputation to blow it all on a scurrilous story.

And what's he gain by publicizing the story at all? This story has the aroma of another team's PR dept "quacking like a duck." (Perhaps they're feeding off the Cardinal mgt's reputation for being easy to roll).

Possibilities:

- He was helping out a friend

- He got pressured by NFLNet to "come up with something controversial."

- He's obtaining payback over getting screwed by the player or his agent

- Story is legit and corroborated.

- His source is getting payback etc etc

- Card smokescreen

- Another team picking in the top 5 wants to outcompete ARZ for Murray's services and is trying to devalue Kyler's worth.

I have 2 dislikes -

1. Teams that do wacky things that upset the status quo.

2. Teams that don't take chances.

I tend to favor an approach that's somewhere in-between.

Then you shouldn't have disputed my earlier post. Your comment came across like the positive reports are all BS and only the negative stuff is legitimate. My statement was very middle of the road. The truth is in the middle somewhere. He didn't ace all the interviews and he didn't bomb all of them either. Read it again:

I do believe that I also put a "like" on that post IIRC .

Unless no amount of teams really said that and Casserly is lying about Murray, Rosen and the worth of Bosa because after all he did not cover his arse with mentioning one team in all those comments... he has officially written himself off as being credible

Look guys, Dave Pasch also said Wilks is the best head coach ever hired watching practices. Yeah, he actually said it. Like Wolf, they are cheerleaders for Cardinals. Their words have same weight as mouth breathers Casserly and Gambo which is Zero.

So you think Rosen is a lazy spoiled punk by feeling compelled to state that... you're wrong because pretty much nobody said anything opposite, so what gives you the inclination he's lying?

I said Casserly, Gambo and Pasch words have zero value. Let the record, again, show I want Rosen to be starter and Bosa drafted. No. Concerns with Rosen off the field.

Most of these shills know about the same as any average Joe here- sometimes less. They are just the lucky ones that get paid for it.

Did you listen to Wolf and Pasch towards the end of last season? Dudes were practically begging the team to fire Wilks.

Honestly I never listen to wolf. It is much too hard to listen to that mess that early in the morning.
