Charlotte Pondering Their Draft Pick

Livingston and Deng turning pro should raise the value of the Charlotte Bobcats' No. 4 overall pick, but also could complicate the new team's decision. With Connecticut's Emeka Okafor and Atlanta prep player Howard expected to go 1-2, Deng, Livingston or both would be available to the Bobcats.

Though the Bobcats scouted both players extensively, it's not a lock they would draft either, team sources said. The Bobcats are also interested in Stanford forward Josh Childress, Saint Joseph's point guard Jameer Nelson and Wisconsin guard Devin Harris.

It seems improbably that Childress, Nelson, or Harris would go that high; but it would radically change who the Suns would have available if they did.

If the Bobcats have serious interesst in them they will be interessted in getting our pick so we can unload Eisley on them.
