I don't even think Marvin is having that bad of a season. He just looks like the 4th best pass catcher in this draft when he was drafted 4th overall, which is hugely disappointing.

In one of the articles out today they said the coaches "challenged him" to be more physical going after the ball. Told him flat out it's more physical here you have to be more physical to succeed. Kyler was quoted on the same thing said Marv is going to be great, he is still learning how much more physical it is in the NFL than college.

I see you're back to driving the Kyler train, even after you called him a choker. He doesn't suck but he's a choker.

K1 will never lead this team to a playoff win. That's my bold prediction of what K1 is capable of.

17 TDS/11 INTs, throwing for less than 3600 yards in 16 games.

Back before the league went to 17 games, if these were your QB’s numbers, people would say he sucks.

Kyler is to blame for MHJ.

However, I think Cards fans would be feeling better about Kyler if he had Nabers. Supercharged Kirk to help restore the deep ball thats been missing.

MHJ needs well...a CJ Stroud kind of QB who can layer throws over the middle to him.
Marv was open for the deep ball and Kyler pulled his Checkdown Charlie routine again.

Not a defense of Kyler at all, but the deep INT is a play where you'd hope your "star" receiver could make a play. He's got good position on the DB, he's got size and he doesn't even really come close to getting that ball.

He was double covered. But I agree, I thought it looked like he would make more of a challenge for it. Disappointing.

We’d all be super pissed that we wasted two first round picks on players kyler couldn’t maximize?

Doesn’t matter if you had 3 Jerry Rice if your qb can’t get them the ball.

This type of delusion is why I will be over the top for K1

It’s one thing to say K1 gags in big moments it’s another to state the above and be serious

3600 yards, 17 TDs and 11 INTs are pathetic numbers for a QB.

And let me stop you before you make the “it’s the OC’s conservative playcalling!” and allow me to retort… if your QB is throwing 11 INTs in such limited opportunities, guess what… you don’t want that QB throwing the ball a lot.
