Loved the video clips, so much happening across the board.

On Marvin's long catch/broken play against the Rams.
Looks like Fiske stunted to outside and the outside player crashed down on LT and LG. It was either holding on Rams to prevent the LG from getting Fiske or it was a hell of a power move taking out two big OL.

No doubt. Learning how to effectively hang in the pocket was what made Kurt so effective, and Kyler needs to figure that part of the game out to take the next step.

Kurt was so good at reading the defense and getting the ball out quickly, it often punished a pass rush.

Sure - but he would also hang in there and take hits, letting routes develop.
Yep, that’s the main reason. His wife made him retire, taking too much punishment and willing to stand in there.

Kyler’s biggest flaw is something that’s not his fault nor in his control. To reach his ceiling he needs to be in a perfect situation like Hurts or Goff.

It's a self scouting and comfort piece. 1st off, is he aware? 2nd, is he capable standing in the pocket as it collapses to get to his 2nd read consistently?

my premise is this: he currently does it -- and he is 18th, which isnt terrible. It wouldn't take too many more 2nd read completions per game to get him up in the top 12 or so.

I think it might be less about a collapsing pocket and more about being a tick faster to the read
