getting stronger will definitely help

I also hope he worked on adjusting to the ball in the air for backshoulder throws

last year he looked as if it was the first time he saw one of those

Getting bigger may slow him a bit
Need to improve hand strenght in order to get better grip in the contested catches
Many missed catches in this regard last season

Granted that David Boston went off the rails, but the increased muscle certainly helped Fitzgerald. He got stronger and his yards after catch got much better. It also might have helped him have one of the most injury-free careers of any wide receiver. Let's hope MHJ follows the Fitzgerald path and not the Boston path.

I think Marvin was just thinking too much and that's understandable considering how the high expectations that were placed on him.

He'll be a great player for the Cardinals long term.
Agreed. And he doesn't need to be a burner. Neither Fitz nor Boldin were burners and they were great.
Harrison Jr needs to just go out and play. And the OC needs to focus on getting him the ball. He can't produce if not given the opportunity.
The Giants force fed the ball to Nabers most of the year. I went back and looked and Nabers never had a game with less than 8 targets (highest was 18).

I feel like it is way too early in the off season to be talking about how much muscle he's gained. The season just ended a couple months ago.

David was a coker, nothing else was a factor.

Is this really based in any form of reality? Fitz went from 13.4 YPR to 13.7 the next two years in a row a nominal improvement at most. Then had several season in his prime where he averaged 11-12 YPR. A couple sprinkled in at the 14 YPR. But saying it got MUCH BETTER. Seems like an exaggeration.
