The Minnesota boys basketball state tournament brackets were unveiled Saturday, and they feature a pair of St. Paul teams — one of which you’re used to seeing at state, the other you’re not.

Cretin-Derham Hall qualified for state for the seventh time in nine years. The Raiders are the top seed in this year’s Class 4A bracket and join second-seeded Wayzata as the clear favorites to lift the trophy on Saturday evening.

The other St. Paul school? Harding. Yes, the Knights are in the dance for the first time in program history. Harding is the first St. Paul public school to reach state since Johnson last did so in 2015. The Knights are the No. 8 seed in the Class 3A field, and will battle top-seeded Mankato East on Tuesday morning at Williams Arena.

The quarterfinals in the three of the biggest classes will take place Tuesday — with Class 4A games at Target Center, Class 3A at Williams Arena and Class 2A split between the two sites. Class A’s quarterfinals are Thursday at Target Center.

Semifinals and finals across all four classes will be at Williams Arena, and will be televised locally on KSTC-Channel 45 and be streamed on. All quarterfinal action will be streamed on https://prepspotlight.tv/MSHSL.

The Class A bracket will be revealed Sunday
