Hey Chi Card

You have been around awhile - has itever been this bad? Even under Ryan? This was a winnable game - the Raven stink. What an awful, pathetic, disgusting sad outfit team this is.

F!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even the days of Bob Holloway were not this hopeless. Gary Couazo was not as wothless as Blake. I don't know what to do. I'm beside myself. I've cancled my plans to go to the Cleveland game, and I've never ever done that before. I've been to their mini-camp. camp, and the openner in Det. and have just about had my fill. Can't remeber a time I didn't even care to watch. If they don't get rid of Mac and bench Blake, I am going to throw the towel in. Maybe it has something to do with the Cubs, but I'm beginning to think an old southsider like myself is being punished by God this season.

Ok Chicard you cannot get too mad at the Cubbies but yeah I hear ya, I am a Cardinal baseball fan and so rooting for the Cubs is like pure blasphemy but heck they are due and I am happy for their fans.

Our day will come I just have to eat right and work out more to increase the odds I am around when it happens.

Well I'm going to be 53 and have started to think about how many more years I've got to try and see the Big Red in the Super Bowl myself! As for the Cubs, after today hope remains alive that they can choke. It is unbearable around here and with a liscense plate that reads "Sox Fan" I can't avoid the digs.;)

Just tell people you're a sales rep for Hanes--the "sox" division. Tell them it's a little joke against you cause you can't spell...but you just LOVE the Cubbies...just try to avoid choking when you acutally SAY that to someone. I'm a Cards' fan all around and I'm even cheering on the Cubbies.

I can't root for the Cubs either. I tried, but it's like being Hindu and Muslim, or Christian and Jewish. It is just not natural Friends have been congratulating me on the Cubs and cannot believe I am pulling for the Marlins. Hard to explain that I am not FOR the Marlins. but against the Cubs. Cardinal Super Bowl - when pigs fly?

Well, I'm gonna root for the team from my home state of Illinois. Even the Cardinals (football) are originally from Illinois. Oh by the way, Jesus was JEWISH. Christianity was based on all things taught to us by Jewish people. The Jews just want their old coach back, Moses. They don't like their new coach, Jesus. They don't BELIEVE he can coach like the old coach. Reminds me of something I heard on TV where an announcers asks a girl if she was Christian and the girl says no, I'm Catholic. HELLO! Catholic IS Christian! LOL

Chicard,

Sorry bout that chief--I am Maxwell Smart,er, not so smart...LOL
jmt equated being a White Sox fan and cheering for the Cubs was unnatural--like being Jewish and rooting for Christians or Muslims rooting for Hindus. I guess I was responding to what he said more so than you. I suppose this was an unfortunate incidence of mixing baseball and religion on a football message board. jmt started it! Goldberg drops back and throws the Hail Mary Pass.

Hey Chi Card: From a 60 year Cub fan: Eat your heart out baby! I read Big Hurt will probably be leaving. In case you forgot you can watch the Cubs on Fox tonight clinch their trip to the World Series with Prior on the mound. If by some miracle they lose then Wood will close the deal tomorrow. I am sure you remember the Cards have played the Bears in WRIGLEY> The Billy Goat Curse is history.

Ah yes Conrad Dobler. How is it watching the Cubs in October? I saw a list of guys your team will probably be getting rid of including Jim Edmunds. You should get rid of the big mouth Klein who stated on TV he hoped Mark Pryor woud take a line drive between the eyes and he would never have to see him again. The Cubs are helpiing me live though the Football Cardinal nightmare. Who knows what could happen? The Cubs were last this past year and now on the doorsteps of the World Series. What did it take? A great new Manager, A new GM who was given authority and responsibility and some money to acquire three of the best players on the Pittsburg team. We are still in the middle of the pack on our payroll.
