Once again, guy unblocked on a blitz, forcing a throw to the hot route.

what kind of sucks is that our offensive line is playing awful...and we are kind of stuck with this group from a contract standpoint (i.e. they are almost too expensive to cut - except for spikes)...they are playing so bad a couple of them need to be benched.. the consensus is that we need a qb, CB, Dline, veteran WR....but what about the oline? These guys are playing awful.

an unknown white tailback and kordell stewart are kicking our ass....but our defense is playing better than our offense...that is pretty bad....

I am ready for Eli.

Hey look we suck so bad it is causing a low pressure system in the Illinios area, forcing a higher pressure system in from the west.

and another thing..in the 1st half - we were doing ok against the bears on 1st and 2nd down..but getting killed when the bears had 3rd and long (they would need 10 and gain 11)....

Fisher and thompson play well on 1st and 2nd down and then they come out on third down....why? I know we go to the nickel package...but if guys are making plays - leave them on the field!

When Rod Graves and David Barrett's agent sit down to negotiate during the offseason. Graves just has to put in a tape of this game and not say a word.....he looks horrible

I was thinking the same thing in the first quarter. This guy thinks he deserves a huge contract???

barrett is going to look like an idiot for not taking our offer of a long term deal (which he deemed too low)....he will end up playing somewhere else for the near minimum...kwamie, martay, barrett...different players..same situation.

Any theories on why jeff blake is so bad of late? He played well for the saints..then was injured. He played ok for baltimore last season... For the past few weeks..they have shown receivers open....he has time to throw on occasion.. his vision and accuracy on his throws are awful.

We should start playing Parson from here on till the end of the season to know what he has.

Agreed. It will give us a solid clue as to who will back up Eli next year.:D

I seriously think Ive read this sentiment every season for the past god knows how many years. Will it happen? Nope. We have a coach who somewhere in his mind feels the need to win a couple a games for reputations sake or even the grim hope of keeping his job. Playing Parsons guarantees 4 more losses.

It aint gonna happen, so lets just drop that whole line, shall we?

He got worse as the game went on today. I think just a little help from his wideouts may have made it a better day, even Boldin had a drop. Then the line did horrible on blitz pickups, and we did nothing running. But, he did have a couple of bad throws too.

When teams are geared to worry only about our passing attack we're dead in the water. We don't have the WR's to beat that.

Probably because our receivers were not smart enough to get past the 1st down marker when they ran their route. Lousy play calling. Our running game is getting back to where it normally is. Shipp is good but not as good as many of us think. He is not a starter on a lot of teams. If you cannot run you cannot pass effectively. Seems our QB could not pass effectively anyway today. When we were down 21-3 I thought we could have brought in McCown to see what he could do. There was only 7 minutes left. What did we have to lose? My guess Mac did not want to embarrass Blake. He embarrased himself however.

Eli, some WRs (Boldin is the only one I would keep) and a whole new coaching staff and GM.

I think it's more a question of timing. One...two...three...turn for the ball (regardless of where the marker is). Therefore, they all seem to be short of the 1st down marker.

Blake doesn't have the timing down with his receivers and we're in, what - Week 14?

deanna..this has been a big beef of mine..we still have guys running routes that turn left and the ball is thrown right..they are not on the same page as the qb....
