This band makes me want to puke. I love Satriani and hate everyone else in the band. I just can't believe that Satriani, one of the most talented guitarists of all time, would waste his talents playing behind Sammy Haggar. It's worse then Santana doing a song with Rob Thomas.. I want to puke.

I totally disagree with the Chickenfoot part. This is a supergroup that actually delivered...imo. Satriani is indeed most stellar but so is Hagar, Anthony and Smith in their own rights. This fusion does favor Hagar to a degree but the overall feel to me is really something special. Smith and Anthony form a very very solid backbone to the chemistry that Satch/Hagar flow brilliantly. There was some decent rock in the eighties and this album takes the sound of that era to a new level. Rejuvinating for sure.

Llama, I'm not a big fan of Hagar either but do recommend a quick listen to Montrose...fronted by the Sam Man.

So they all sucked even before you heard them.Its like me saying I hate the color red.. Then I said red cars suck.. Just a little odd to me.. IMHO

I have no idea what was so hard to understand. I like Satriani, I don't like anyone else in the band. As a result, I don't like the band Chickenfoot because even though I like Joe's riffs, the rest of the band ruins it for me. Is that a little more clear?

Look, they are good musicians, I know that, they just don't appeal to me personally. Maybe my initial post was harsh, there are far worse bands out there, these guys just don't appeal to me. I have never been able to tolerate Hagars voice, it's like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I've never liked Sammy Hagar either. Can't really give you much of a reason other than he rubs me the wrong way.
