This Eagles team is built ridiculously well.

While people are busy giving Monti mulligans on draft picks on the basis of hindsight, Howie just keeps hitting on pick after pick and winning championships. And he isn't even 50 years old yet.

Also, this game was once again won in the trenches. The Eagles D not blitzing the entire game is just insane. Monti needs to focus on the D-line and stop messing around with adding all of these DBs.

I actually don't agree with Hurts getting MVP even though he played a terrific game. That game was won by the Eagles DL and OL, if you have to give it to one guy it should have been Sweat.

I guess it was cool for D Hop to catch a TD pass but they got completely destroyed and I've read he won't be back in KC.

THe Eagles draft was pretty smart, Georgia had a top 3 national defense for like 3 straight years and the Eagles picked guys off that defense.

If i had to guess I would say again it's likely Aj Brown probably isn't there for the long term, the constant griping is one thing but I think the Eagles get that they are winning because of the LOS and in order to keep that they are probably going to have to let some big salaries go elsewhere, if you're picking between Brown and Smith you probably keep Smith since he's as good and far less distracting.

Like drafting CB in the 1st and 2nd as the Eagles did

The Eagles didn’t need to dial up any exotic blitzes to confuse Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes during Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Sunday night.

They didn’t have to dial up any simple ones either. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio never needed to call a single blitz during the 40-22 win because his defensive linemen were able to generate constant pressure on Mahomes all by themselves.

The is the result of having a strong enough secondary to take Mahommes first reads away AND putting him under pressure.
Chiefs o-line has been struggling all season

Howie Roseman didn't build Rome in a day. It took a few years. His first three years he went 9-7, 4-11, and 9-8. He was 14-3 in his fourth year as the GM. Criticism of Monti for going 8-9 in his second year as GM is pretty unreasonable. Will AZ fans be calling for Monti's head if he goes 9-8 in his third season as GM, which is what Howie did with the Eagles in his third season as GM?

Here's Roseman's season records in years 2019-2022.

2019 9-7
2020 4-11
2021 9-8
2022 14-3

It's just so sad to see other NFC teams like the Eagles and Rams keep hitting on draft picks while we just have hopes.

After seeing videos, I'm kinda bummed I missed the halftime show. Gonna try to find the full thing to watch this week.

What are you on about? Rosen has been with Philly since 2010.

The Chiefs have been getting by with really good G-C-G on the o-line but super suspect tackles.

Tuney having to slide out to LT against a really good front 7 turned out to be too much to ask. He was exposed over and over last night.

A high end QB like Mahommes can compensate for a lot --- but there are limits and the Chiefs just found it.

Nothing has fallen off worse than rap over the years. Whenever I hear something from 20+ years ago I’m shocked how high it is in quality.
I agree, but what I heard of Kendrick in videos seemed to be well thought out and different from a lot of other stuff.

To be fair, that could be because we're actually old. I'm a huge fan of Late Registration, Be, and The Documentary from 2005, for sure. But I'm also old and I think a lot a lot of people get locked into what they liked in their late teens/early 20s.

Yo, Lupe Fiasco came out with a new album last year. Who knew?

The 215
Philadelphia are winning with Hurts not cause of Hurts
One of the best overall team i remember
Zero weakness
He deserved this MVP. He was no passenger on the win train. Yes, an amazing team, but Allen, Burrow and Jackson still sitting on that couch.
