Randy Covitz, of the Kansas City Star, reports the Kansas City Chiefs worked out free-agent DL Quentin Moses (Cardinals).

The Chiefs then signed him, and cut him 5 minutes later when they found out why he'd been cut twice already!



This is a weird one he obviously has talent. The cut by accident story on the Raiders always seemed fishy and the fact that he never played a role at all for us sort of supported there was some other reason.

Too bad we needed a young pass rusher but obviously he wasn't the guy.

I dont even think he has talent. He stunk his senior year(2.5 Sacks) and is still riding the coat tails of his Junior year when people thought he had potential and ready to break out. Somers has a blog on Moses yesterday, saying he was rarely ever involved in the practices and is super skinny(aparently not getting any bigger in Lotts program). Says the Cards want to keep him as a long term project. TO be called a project is one thing but to be called a long term project says a lot about your current abilities.

I think he is an even weaker version of Mr Armpit Rice, with less talent.

Well he actually had a pretty decent pre season in Oakland and they thought he had some talent but yeah he does need to bulk up.

There has to be something else to this story we don't know about the kid yet maybe he's just really lazy or something I don't know.

Well the Raider rumor was he refused to play special teams and that's the real reason they cut him. That just never made any sense to me I mean what rookie who's not going to start (Burgess ahead of him) would be dumb enough to refuse to play ST to get on the field?

But maybe that's actually true?

Quentin Moses = Dennis Johnson (the DE we took in the 3rd round a few years back that was supposed to be some sort of pass rushing phenom)

I cant believe no one has ever had armpit rice.

Its that stuff you get under your arms after a long day and you used way to much cheap deodorant that morning. It all cakes up into little rice hanging off the ends of your arm pit hair. Most got it in high school when they couldnt afford the good deodorant.
