1st Round Prospects:

Marvin Williams 3/4 North Carolina
Danny Granger 3/4 New Mexico
Andray Blatche 3/4/5 H.S
Hakim Warrick 3/4 Syracuse
Joey Graham 3/4 Oklahoma State
Charlie Villanueva 3/4/5 Connecticut
Ryan Gomes 3/4 Providence
Jawad Williams 3/4 North Carolina

others:
Bogut, Paul, D Williams, Green, Felton, Taft, A Wright, Webster, Vasquez, McCants, May, Splitter, Frye, Garcia...

That is 22 Prospects listed above... not counting Diogu, Morris, Bass, etc. Villanueva has skills but questionable character but it appears the Suns should get a Prospect that can help team. I am looking for a 3/4 (noted above) but Bogut, Taft, Vasquez, May, Splitter, Frye; or even Petro (no gamefilm) and Andriuskevicius (no gamefilm) all can help at the big positions... Paul, D Williams, and Felton would be a big upgrade at back-up PG... Green, A Wright, Webster, Garcia, McCants etc. all would be excellent bench players at the wings, although MCants too has questionable character.

I can't wait until the Draft.

I know how a lot of the members here think of Ike Diogu, so that's yet another Prospect that could help team.

I picked Andray Blatche because I don't believe Danny Granger will be there and Blatche has the ability to move to the 5... those 2 are my top-2. I also like Hakim Warrick and if none of these Prospects are there... Francisco Garcia would be a good Pick IMO and is slotted to be there at #21.

I like Frye. If he is gone I would take a chance on Diogu. I think Ike has a lot more talent than a lot of these foreigners and I would take a chance with that pick.

Hakim Warrick.

If he's gone (which is a strong possibility), then Andray Blatche.

Where's the Bynum kid? He's rated somewhere near Blatche.

I like the idea of Jawad Williams to take Waltah's spot, but he may be more of a second rounder. What if we take McCants as security in case we decide to trade Q or JJ in two summers to free up space for Stat's extension (and maybe Hunter)? Not to mention JJ2 only has 1 more year on his contract.

Chaplin, the original post, was going to another Draft Thread and then I decided on a Poll (my first) and I left out a lot of Prospects, that I'd like to enter in but I don't think I can change... I was going to delete this one and make another with the 40 choices but I noticed people started voting on it. I forgot to add other, so if anybody else has another Prospect that they're high on - they're welcome to type it.

It was my poll, and besides Petro (no gamefilm) - these are all Prospects I wouldn't mind, assuming that the top-tier are taken. It's a little late in process, to start another one - and I know a lot of these guys will be selected before #21 but sometimes Prospects drop for whatever reason (Paul Pierce, Michael Finley, etc.) and outside of Gerald Green, there is a chance 1 of the top 15 could drop... and I just didn't want to have too many 2nd Round talent.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu, John Gilchrist, Nate Robinson, Linas Kleiza, Randolph Morris, Roko Leni-Ukic, Monta Ellis, Rudy Fernandez, Wayne Simien, Ronny Turiaf, Louis Williams, Salim Stoudamire, Andrew Bynum, Shawne Williams, Lawrence Roberts, etc. could all be added to the 41 Poll but a member could easily type their own selection.

1.) Frye
2.) Warrick
3.) Blanche

Frye would be a good guy to develop as a starting C down the road. we all know that Amare doesnt want to play the C for more than a couple more years.

Warrick is NBA ready. i think of him as a Marion. he can score, rebound, block and has great athletecism. he'd be a great pickup. Warrick would make Marion somewhat expendable. we might shop him if we drafted Warrick.

Blanche would be a project. we'd have to be commited to spending money on FA's if we draft him. he'd be on the bench for at least an entire year.

I voted for Blatche just going on word of mouth. Did not see him play but sounds like he would fit well. It would be alright if we have him in a rotation 10-15 minute rotation with Hunter.

Frye and Warrick will more than likely be gone by 21.

There is one UofA player I would like to sign as a FA though, Luke Walton.

Chad Ford was on ESPN radio this afternoon and was asked which player who had not signed with an agent would he recommend returning to the NCAA and his answer was Ike Diogu.
