OK but that's an unfair comparison because in this case Ware MIGHT have a career threatening medical condition that can't actually be "treated".

That's the whole question on Jones, did USC's doctors overreact in refusing to clear him to play again, or does he have spinal stenosis. If he does, many NFL teams will pull him off their first round boards.

Even if 100% healthy Jones was going to be interesting because he's more productive than his workout numbers are likely to show. Most people don't expect him to be great in the 40 for example

Great player, but lots of questions.

You are right on that

My assumption is that before draft day, he will either be cleared, or teams will flag him

In choppers mock-- he still had Jones going high, which implies he was cleared

If the neck condition is serious, it's the difference between top 10 and the second round

I hope he runs crappy 40s and benches low reps-- I have seen enough on the field to know how good he is.

I just dont get the Warmack love

and its not just "you dont take a guard in the top 10"

I dont think he is as good a prospect as DeCastro, who went in the 20s

Hutchinson went in the teens

Passing Jarvis Jones for Warmack based on need just doesnt feel right

I agree and I don't agree.

1. If Jones is there..... We take him. I really don't think he will be there.

2. McShay's take on Warmack:
Warmack is a flat-out stud who would instantly improve their offensive line. He is one of the best guards I've ever evaluated, an easy mover in pass protection who shows plenty of smarts and is also a nasty run-blocker.

I think Decastro & Warmack are almost the same player. McShay has him graded higher than Decastro as well.

He looks to be plenty durable as well. We really need a couple more talented OLmen. And Warmack looks to be the best. It'd be great to get him and Mathews in a trade down.

If both Warmack and Jake Matthews are there I take Matthews. We then have our LT for the next 12 years. We can get a OG in the second round like Fluker or Warford. Also I can't see Mingo in the top 5 after the way he has played this year.

Warmack is a better prospect than De Castro in almost very category. DeCastro is probably better pulling and on the move but Warmack is bigger, stronger, and a better blocker.

I've been hearing Jones is not an ideal candidate for 3-4 teams and is more a 4-3 DE. I don't really see that, but it's out there.

As for Carradine, I heard it was a pretty bad injury. That's too bad because he had a really nice year.

Looking at the 1st round tells me this is a pretty weak draft for high end talent. Joeckel, Warmack, Star, and possibly Te'o seem like the only sure things in round 1.

Warmack reminds me of Larry Allen and anyone who plays like Larry Allen gets my vote.

This reflects what I have seen and my feelings in general. He is the closest I have seen to Larry Allen and Allen was an impactful OG.

Mingo might not even come out due to his play, but his talent is amazing. IF he does, some team in the top 10 will jump on him.

Di u prefer nassib now? No more love for Wilson . As a qb il think is super talented. I love the way he throw

I think Nassib is more likely to be available when we pick in the 2nd round than Wilson. I still think Wilson is a better prospect as he has better tools.

I have him going high because I believe there will be a team willing to take a chance but I don't think it will be Arizona. Given two players of similar skill and need, I would always take the one who has less medical risk. In this case Warmack.

Is there a chance Jarvis Jones has a more dominant career than Warmack? Sure, but at what point do we as a team stop dicking around and commit to improving our offense? Taking Warmack and improving the offensive line is the first step to doing so.
