Rumor has it, Chicago has pulled back their "we'll trade anyone but Chris Sale" comments and now have let it be known even he is available for the right trade.

Sale is 24 years old, a two time All Star and coming to his own as one of the best young pitchers in the American League. I personally feel he'd be a huge upgrade to the rotation. I'm of the general belief that trading Tyler Skaggs AND Archie Bradley is an avenue that shouldn't even be explored, however if Chicago approaches with a "we'll take one or the other" as the prize of a package deal, I'd be highly hesitant to say pass if I'm Kevin Towers.

I know the Rangers likely will throw up the dukes and offer Profar or Olt as part of a package, but I sincerely wonder aloud if Skaggs, Owings, Andrew Chafin, AJ Pollock and Stryker Trahan might not appeal to them more...

Sale is a stud and I would give that up for him.

Sale, Corbin, and Bradley has the potential to be a devastating 1-2-3 and if they would take that package I would be all over it

Sale's arm/delivery issues scare me a bit. Similar things were said about Daniel Hudson prior to his injury. With that said I think he's a stud and would love to get him depending on the compensation.

I've been DEAD set AGAINST trading Skaggs or Bradley, but when you bring Chris Sale into the conversation, I'm on board for the trade you describe above.

Sale is a LEGIT ace, not just a #1 but an ACE. A 2.88 ERA in the AL with 434 strike outs in 406 innings AND HE'S 24!
