Houston already has Juwan Howard, whose game is similar, and they use him only when they have to. So I can't see them having much interest in Webber.

I don't want Webber on the Suns. He's a disruptive malcontent who still thinks he's a superstar. (Anyone reminded of Penny Hardaway?) Tim Thomas and Jalen Rose were both at the stage that they just wanted to be playing for a good team again, but I don't see that in Webber. Part of the reason Philadelphia has fallen apart is that Webber won't accept a reduced role there and is making the clubhouse miserable -- Iverson was responding to that as much as anything else. Furthermore, Webber is inefficient offensively and immobile defensively, so he wouldn't be much of an asset even while on the court.

If Webber is bought out, I could see him going to Orlando. He could get minutes for them, and if he plays alongside Howard, his defensive limitations wouldn't be so problematic.

Your probably right about Webber not being right for the Suns. I have a weakness about collecting big players for the Suns frontline. :)

I think Jumaine Jones can really solidify the Suns roster as the 8th man. It also creates great incentive for those players wanting to get playing time to be focused (Rose, JR and Banks). Nothing like losing playing time to increase concentration.

Webber can't play anymore. Kurt is a better rebounder, defender and shooter then Webber. The only reason to pick up Webber would be for insurance. I wouldn't mind getting him for that reason alone. However, I wouldn't imagine he gets off the bench either.
