Yeah, this is great stuff. Things I wished they had done, just from a personal standpoint, in this last episode:

I wish they would have brought the girl into their scheme. I know it wasn't going to happen, but the whole 'what the hell were you doing...and with her, Chuck?!' aspect of it will probably get old. Plus, it sucks to watch him squirm lol I just want him to get the girl.

Also, I thought the Morgan and Ellie investigation could have gone on a while longer.

According to E Chuck is on the bubble again for renewal. This season has been fantastic. Really this show keeps getting better. They better renew this show. It's easily one of my favorites on TV.

Once daylight savings was switched, the ratings went down, although the last episode had an upswing. Funny how NBC is even considering cancelling this. Outside of their reality crap, this is still one of their best performing shows, and at a bad air time to boot.

That said, this is my favorite show on television not named LOST.

Its hard to compete with How i met your mother, MNF and now wrestling seeing as they are all shooting at the same demo, put chuck on a Wednesday night at 9 and the ratings would skyrocket

Good episode, but it had the feeling for, if not the end of a story arc, the end of a show.
Thoughts?

I think there are still avenues to explore. The new team make up, the development of Morgan and the relationship between Chuck and Sarah. I do agree that it feels like they've wrapped a lot of things up. The new episodes will tell whether or not there is any way the show can continue. I hope it does.

Kinda thought the same thing, but then I remembered the last season finale when Chuck got the 2.0 in his noggin - the writers took it in a great direction, where sometimes he couldn't flash at all, sometimes he could just when he needed it, and it still left him to deal with his two big goals: 1) Get the Girl; 2) Be a Spy.

I think the writers can pull this one off, but I don't know for how long.

Chuck in the 9pm slot would be interesting because they could do more. I think it's a Sunday kind of show, though.

That episode was episode 13. Originally, the show was only ordered for 13 episodes, so as of only a few months ago, it WAS the season finale. But NBC ordered 6 more episodes after these 13 were already done, so that's why this felt like a finale but wasn't.

I had read the same thing. That episode was in the "can" before the order for additional episodes was made so it makes sense. The other factor is that the writers/producers know when a show is on the bubble and usually they write the last episode as a "well if it ends, this could be an ending" type episode. I bet we see that again in the last episode of the season.

IMO sunday's would kill the show and what would the lineup be? a minute to win it, apprentice then chuck? The reason i said Wednesday is because right now its minute to win it then two SVU's. If you put chuck at nine with the minute to win it lead in which shoots at the 18-34 demo i think you got a good match.

I'm not sure NBC shoots for 18-34 in the 9pm slot. They tend to like them a little older with money to spend on Lexus, pharmaceuticals, etc.

Working with NBC everyday, they really don't have a clue what they want to do. Their programming schedule is schizoid and for ****. The Friday show, Who Do You Think You Are, is a Sunday show if there ever was one, but they're committed to Fridays for some reason.

Cant agree more NBC seems like they throw the proverbial ish against the wall and hope it sticks they have no night like a CBS Monday or an ABC Wednesday that is just packed with quality shows.

Someone with a little sense should see the lack of programing out there geared towards the 18-34 at the 9pm spot and i understand what your saying about the sponsors but look at heroes on monday night same demo just at 9pm, I think 9pm is where chuck needs to be.

This is how the season 2's finale for "Life" felt for me.
Either yeah, it was a solid end to the arc, or yeah, goodbye.
Great knowledge on the 6 new Chucks though.

Chuck got renewed for season 4 tonight.

Awesome. One of my favorite shows. I figured it would be canceled due to its low ratings. (But it's going up against juggernauts like Dancing with the Stars, House, and How I Met your Mother.)

Chuck really needs to be moved to a different night.

Would have been a great way to end the show, or even the series. Next few episodes were kind of weak, but it has picked up again.

Wow. I guess they really like Brandon Routh. After the finale, it sets up to see alot more of him next season.
