Apparently been hanging out with a known gambler now according to ESPN.

Doesn't this kid ever learn?

Nope, he doesn't. The amazing thing is, his idiocy is costing him money for every problem he gets into. And everyone wonders why the NFL doesn;t feel players are ready until 3 years out of high school.

This sounds like the kind of fella that we should use our second round pick on. Ain't that right, Cbus?

:biglaugh:

I was actually thinking the same thing! I respect CBus immensely (he totally pegged Jeff Blake, though he did go a little too far) but that would be an AWFUL pick. Colossally awful. Stupendously absurd awful. I would literally throw my TV if we picked Clarett and would go to games just to heckle him.

Maybe throw parlay cards at him?

I hadn't heard that about Clarett. What really happened was that he knows the Cards are planning on taking him and he saw Danny Sheridan list the Cards at 1 trillion:1 in yestedays USA Today to win next years Super Bowl and immediately went to find a bookie willing to take his bet:D .

Yeah and if he rushes for a 100 yards game you will be buying his jersey and demanding him be named rookie of the year.

Just win, baby.

After reading the story,it's a non-story.So what,if some guy that Clarett knows made some legal bets. You talk about trying to make a story out of nothing.I'm sure there are a ton of NFL players that know people that make bets.Hell, there was just a record number of dollars bet on the Super Bowl last week in Vegas.

when the buckeyes played miami for the national championship...clarett was interviewed on local tv in arizona. It was about the worst interview of an athlete I have ever witnessed... ....it was so bad I was thinking that perhaps Budweiser got the idea for the Leon character by watching the clarett interviews...

Blinded by the light. Stand by your man.

It is ONLY coincidental, that Mo liked to talk to this guy pre game on the cell phone, Mr. Jingle pockets paid for, while Mr. Jingle pockets was on the other line making offshore bets. Makes one wonder about those nail biter Buckeye games during the glorious career of Mo. Just keep it interesting. A guy could have gotten fat betting the Buckeyes against the cover.

Actually, if you read the article it was shown that the guy never bet an Ohio State game. However,he should have.OSU plus 17 in the Fiesta Bowl 2 years ago was as much of a lock as you can ask for.If i remember right,Ohio State won outright 31-24 and Cryami still can't get over it.

Hey! Maybe this is the guy who paid the ref to throw the bogus flag. He needed the cover in OT. Those offshore bookies play rough.

P.S. Thanks for the big ol state of Ohio O Tackle recruit.

We may have to shortcut this thread as Krang doesn't like to see College talk in this Forum. He spoke.
