With Pendergast coming over from Cleveland I wonder if the Cards might be interested in this player:
ESPN's John Clayton reports the Cleveland Browns have given S Earl Little permission to seek a trade, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Little signed a four-year, $5 million contract last year, but according to Rosenhaus, he can talk to other teams about finding a new situation. Little has been a productive safety for the Browns, averaging five interceptions a year for the past three years. Should Rosenhaus find a new team, the Browns will ask a second-day draft choice in return. He is a bargain in the sense that his base salary is only $535,000 this season.
I would do the deal for a sixth or seventh rounder.
