Clint Frazier is back in the concussion protocol after suffering a head injury while diving for a ball for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Thursday night. “We’ll just try and get as many answers as we can for him and for us and try to help him the best we can moving forward,” Aaron Boone said before the Yankees faced the Mets on Friday night in The Bronx. “Hopefully it’s something that’s short term, but [there are] a lot of unknowns, obviously, that come with this.” The Yankees and Frazier learned that during spring training, when the outfielder suffered a concussion after crashing into a wall attempting to make a catch.
