Barry (Jon), an NBA veteran who is receiving interest from the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Clippers, has not heard from the Nuggets recently. The Atlanta resident averaged 6.2 points in 57 games last season.

Things have been very quiet on the Clipper's rumor front, but this rumor plus the possible Wilcox for Kittles deal suggests the Clips are serious about looking at alternatives to Q. Jon Barry would come very cheap and is still a pretty good outside shooter.

The trade of Wilcox for Kittles makes little sense unless the Clippers expect to pick up a draft pick or two (plus some cash) from the picks that the Nets got in the Martin deal. Kittles has only one year left on his contract at $9.8 million while Wilcox makes only $2.2 million.

Interesting. I don't see why they would be looking at Berry if they are going to keep Q.

They might because they have so few players under contract. If memory serves me, Jon can play the point and right now Livingston and Jaric are their only PG's. None the less, looking at Jon is consistent with not matching on Q.

You might be mixing up Jon and Brent Barry. I don't remember Jon ever running the point.

But you are right, they need more players under contract, and JB is a nice addition.
