The Suns have to throw size at quickness at a player like Zubac. They need more of it.

Ty Lue did the Suns a favor when the Clippers went small. If not for that, this game might have been a loss.

I'm shocked Bud didn't go back to Richards for some minutes. The Suns dodged a bullet on that one.

The Suns can't afford to have a thing about centers. Their Achilles heel is in the middle. Play Nurkic if the situation dictates.

On this night at least, I think Bud was probably correct. It just wasn't working with Richards out there tonight.

Plumlee is a seasoned vet and was playing effective, while Richards was dominated by Zubac all game. We'll need Nurk back integerated in the playoffs to fight all the Western teams with big C. Our def. rotation has been better lately, and Allen's on-man defense improved. We shot the 3s well except for Beal, otherwise we'd face too man fastbreaks.

Richards deserves a grace period. He was a backup on an Eastern Conference cellar dweller. He's not only seeing more minutes than he has before but he's also playing alongside talent unlike he was accustomed to vs a different array of players.

Bad games will happen but as long as his energy is high then he gets a pass from me. I'll feel different in a month or two but he's been here less than 10 games.
