Clippers @ Suns Saturday 10-26-19 game thread

The NBA schedule can be brutal as the Suns return home to play the Clippers on Saturday.

The Clippers are 2-0 after beating the Lakers and Warriors. They had Friday night off.

It's a 7 p.m. game Arizona time that is scheduled to be televised on FSAZ and NBA TV.

You ever have someones knee hit your thigh or right above you knee? It's painful as hell and almost certainly what happened to him. He will be fine.

I think we will see how far Oubre has evolved against George. He needs to step up big to make the Suns competitive this game. Not expecting a W but not getting blown out will be a big step in the psyche and moral of this team.

This is Rankin creating a story. If Rubio says he's fine, listen to him. Finding a photo like that to post while announcing that he will end up being a game time decision without input from the player or coach is something a writer shouldn't do. I'd expect a fan here to post something like that, not the Suns beat writer.

I closed a door on my knee cap not too long ago... it was unbelievably painful, I've broken my femur and the pain was on a similar scale... however, the pain lasted for a few minutes and then i was fine.

Hopefully that is something like what Rubio did.

The Suns forum was talking about it before Rankin's tweet so it was a concern. I was distracted and did not get a good look at what happened so I was seeking input from others. Since Rubio said it was fine and appeared postgame, hopefully it is not an issue.

This Clippers team is REALLY good. I am expecting to get blown out.

If we can be somewhat competitive against the Clips through three quarters, I'm pleased.

If not, going against one of the best teams in the league with our starting Center and
Point Guard out will indicate nothing!

The big picture is that the Suns are what we've been waiting for. A competitive team.

I know my response has gone farther than your comment, but 'blown out' seems to
indicate all game long. If I've misunderstood that, please forgive me.

He has a bruise. He'll be alright, but obviously it sucks that it had to happen on the first game of a back to back as he will miss a game that he otherwise probably wouldn't miss.

Williams said Point Book will depend on the situation and how the defense plays him. Didn’t say for sure that’s something they will do. Said he wants Book to shoot more and that he had a couple of looks in particular last night that he could have taken.
