Nah, but his style is built more for the Euro league. Plus, I’m not sure how well he could relate to guys like Ayton, Booker, Oubre, etc. Monty does.

And Porter. The Suns really dredged up the bottom of the barrel for several consecutive coaching hires. I still think Kokoskov was probably okay, but there was too much stacked against him.

I know we're only three games in, but Monty Williams looks to me like a Coach of the Year candidate...

Yeah that Monty for coach of the year bet is looking awful good now.

HELL YEAH!!!

tonight was the first game in years I found myself pumping my fist throughout the game and frustrated with foul calls.

I LOVE this team after just three games. Monty has been a godsend. He’s got them all, even booker, buying in. I don’t know if the intensity and energy they expend each game is sustainable over an entire season but their depth should help in that regard. They playing defense, they are playing hard, and they seem to enjoy playing with each other and in this system.

I’m starting to become a believer in baynes, Frank, Carter, and Tyler being reliable contributors. If Cam knicks down the treys he’s getting this team becomes dangerous when Ayton is back. And man, if Rubio ever finds even some touch from outside this season - WHOOOO!

and nice game from saric. TJ mentioned he’s so awkward, but that’s who he is. He’s hitting the board and if his three is back, he’s a nice heady part of the team.

cant believe we are 1 point away from 3-0 including what would’ve been w’s over Denver (shame) and clips.

I have not been this excited for a Suns team like this forever. Three games in and I’m going to say they will make the 8th seed and a playoff birth this year.

My younger son, a Ph.D., is a Physics prof and researcher at WVU.
so I got a special kick out of the story.

He still follows the Suns.

And he got his Masters at Wisconsin, the alma mater of
"Frank The Tank" Kaminsky, as they called him.

When Booker gets angry he plays his best basketball. It kicks him into another gear. I would think opposing players would know this. They should agitate him more often.
