One thing that impressed me about Colin, after having watched the fourth quarter was his drives.

It seems that most of the Suns are afraid to drive the hoop, instead content to pass the ball around the perimeter and take a three. We need those drives!

He really was Nash-like when he probed around the hoop and either attacked or passed out to open shooters.

Collin's basketball IQ is very high. He seldom gets trapped into bad plays because he has a myriad of options.

He is a good shooter with a variety of shots, sees the court well and is a good passer.

He really was Nash-like when he probed around the hoop and either attacked or passed out to open shooters.

Yes, he probes the defense like Nash, but he is still a work in progress.

When he drives inside, he can either pass or shoot the ball.

He can get off quick shots driving to the basket, high off the glass or on the other side of the rim.

What I haven't seen yet if he can keep driving along the baseline under the basket and out the other side. Nash was special that way.

He is a good shooter with a variety of shots, sees the court well and is a good passer.

He does what the other Suns don't, he doesn't pick up his dribble for no reason. Booker, Allen, Royce, even KD, they dribble a certain amount then stop, and look around for a pass. That's part of the reason we throw it away so much. No need to stop your dribble until you see an open pass, or you are shooting. That's for guards, of course. Big guys mostly need to give it up if pressed.

Everywhere I played ball, the second you picked up the ball, your guy guarding you was all over you. The only way to keep them off you was to keep dribbling. Collin seems to get this.

Actually the thing I appreciated most from him was him coming back to help on the boards. He had his hands on a couple of balls to help tip them away from the clippers, and another where he stripped it away from Zubac after he had secured an offensive rebound. He's one of those 'always has a nose for the ball' type of guys which we've been missing since JO was traded.

Good lord. I’ve been injured a lot over my years, but Beal is just flat out silly.

Just watched the second half. As good as we played the 4th quarter, we played THAT bad in the 3rd. It was all layups and dunks for the Clippers in the third period practically. Sheez.

One guy overlooked, Plumlee. He played his A$$ off in the 4th. I can't believe he hit ALL his free throws and Booker missed his! The announcer was right, the Suns have to play this hard to win games. They have talent, but without the hustle, they can't win.

Also, listened to a podcast by Brendon Kleen, and he was at the game, in the upper deck seats. He said half the seats around him cleared out at halftime. More people left in that pathetic third quarter. He said when the first time out came in the fourth KD implored the Suns to cheer. The Suns had a mini scoring blitz. When the Suns pulled to within ten and the challenge came on Plumlee getting fouled in the act of shooting, Kleen said KD went to half court and really implored the fans to get into it. I noticed coming off the floor at the end of the game interview KD raised his arms to the fans. Kleen said this was probably the most interaction KD had with fans while he was playing, that he's seen.

Zubac almost tipped in the tie score at the final buzzer.

Fun fact: This was the biggest fourth quarter comeback in Suns history.

I was just about to say the same thing. He didn't gran either rebound, but had his hands on two, and when he stripped the ball from Zubac, it went out of bounds, BUT it did stop an easy layup/ dunk. That is the type of things Suns need to do.

I definitely want to see more of this kid. He earned some minutes.
