Hey guys,

Paul Coro said that a closed door meeting was held after the loss to the Bulls and his article contains comments from Kerr.

Here's part of the article followed by the link.

The Suns have left the building ... about two hours after the 122-111 home loss to Chicago.

Phoenix's seventh loss in 10 games, a defeat that came to a Bulls team playing its third road game in four nights, prompted an unusual postgame sequence of meetings.

Coach Terry Porter did not have his postgame press conference at the usual time. He first met with staff in his office behind a closed door before emerging 20 minutes after the game ended to talk to reporters.

After most of the Suns players had left, Grant Hill and Steve Nash went into Porter's coaches' office at about 10:20 p.m. for another closed-door meeting with coaches, Suns Managing Partner Robert Sarver and Suns General Manager Steve Kerr. Hill and Nash stayed for about 45 minutes before leaving together while the rest of the group wound up meeting for about one hour in whole.

Here is the link to the rest of the article.

Can a meeting fix anything? Hell NO.

Kerr:

"We've got to keep pushing forward and pushing ahead. We have to figure it out. If the pieces don't fit, then that's on me. And I'm willing to take that blame if that's ultimately the case. We have to determine that and go from there."

Bottom line, Nash, Amare, Shaq doesn't click as a group. Blow it up!

Persistent meetings and collages by the Suns FO and players mean only one thing... the coach has lost the team. Having these meetings only reinforce this idea with the players. I'm glad the Suns had a heart to heart with Hill and Nash... the remaining soul of the team. Changes have to be made now. Further meetings with the players and FO will only diminish any credibility of remaining leadership.

Porter put the team into a no-win position with his game and rotation plans. Nothing but Porter resigning may help.

However, I bet Kerr is the back seat driver. He also made Porter the HC. The Suns need to decide how they are going to run their offense, through Shaq or Amare. Unfortunately I believe the players are very close to the point they will just tune out. Maybe they are already there.

Porter needs to go but with full awareness that Kerr initiated this debacle. Amare most likely needs to follow. Maybe rebuilding is the only answer left as the Suns are like scrambled eggs.

This team is getting worse by the day. When's the last time O'Neal had an assist? The Suns at least used to move without the ball when he had it on the block. They don't even do that anymore. Their defense has become so bad that they can give up 122 points to the Bulls and it's not even on anyone's top five list of things that went wrong in the game. The whole charade is intolerable.

Serious question, do the Suns even have a 1st round pick within the next 2-3 years? I honestly don't know.

I know there r many fans here hate Sarvar and the GM he picked, Kerr.

But, above all, I hate players who doesn't follow orders.

Doesn't play hard on court, is guilty for death for a professional sportsman.

Pretty sad when only Hill and Nash stick around to talk things over. It shows they are the only ones that really care about what's going on.

I feel sad for Hill the most though. The guy has been playing great, plays his heart out each night, and stayed injury free, but is stuck on a crappy team. This is probably his last season and won't get his ring.

Kerr brought in Shaq, JRich, Barnes, Hill, Amundson, Dudley, Dragic and Sideshow Rob.

He built this team, he ought to be coaching it. IMO, fire Porter and make Kerr head coach. If he can't get it done fire him at the end of the season and get a new coach AND GM.

Why not ? Wilcox and Smith are in the last year of their contracts. Two PF who can rebounds and a decent back-up PG.......... It can be worse than having Amare on the Suns roster

If you can't see that trade is ridiculous I can't help you man. 3 Journeyman caliber players for a starting All-Star? If you thought the Gasol trade was bad...

Barbosa stays. I will to watch him, Hill, Amundson play. Why no Tucker at all? Give him some of Barnes' minutes, he's been in a month long shooting funk and throws the ball away too much.

Grant Hill is in a class by himself on this team.

Amare needs to stop playing like the cowardly lion. Those rebounds are yours, you just have to go get them. The offense will come back around to you, as Nash isn't effective with most of the offense going through Shaq either.

We need Shaq for the playoffs and inside presence but not for 3/4's of each game.

What is J Rich's game? Is he Dwayne Wade light? Could he play with Shaq effectively? I really don't know his game. Besides about 6-8 dunks he hasn't been any better than Raja.

Sarver filling out superbowl squares. I wouldn't doubt it. He wants to shed salary. Either Shaqs 20mil or Amare's next near 20mil contract. I bet he is happy they aren't meshing so he won't have to be pressured to pay both.

Grant Hill deserves a raise.

The meeting with Nash and Hill was probably asking them where they would want to be traded if it could be worked out as the FO is preparing to blow up the team.
