Fox Searchlight gets the "Worst Advertising Job of the Year" award for the way they handled this movie. I haven't seen one good trailer or commercial spot for a movie I thought was absolutely hilarious.

Warning, if you didn't like Super Troopers and aren't a fan of lowbrow comedy you won't like this movie. If you said yes to either of the above then you'll dig this movie.

Plot: A washed-up Jimmy Buffet clone (Bill Paxton in a scene-stealing role) owns a hedonistic resort where a serial killer is murdering the staff. The staff members get together to find out who the killer is and put an end to the crimes.

This movie wins as a spoof of slasher films (and is much more effective than the Scary Movie franchise in that regard) and as a comedy. Jimmy Buffet fans will cringe at some of the puns but you have to hear Bill Paxton's songs to believe them.

Saw it opening day and forgot to post a review of it. I absolutely got a kick out of it.

Bill Paxton was absolutely hilarious as usual as was the rest of the Broken Lizard crew even down to the horrible fake accents. Lots of blood and dirty jokes fill this solid spoof of slasher movies. Great mindless fun!

I especially dug the never-ending ending and the dialogue was classic throughout

"So we are supposed to figure out who is going to be murdered next from clues from a song that he doesn't remember"

"S*** I don't remember making the album!"
